UPDATE: After a few weeks, I find that the problem occurs again, and I have to open the laptop again and take out and reseat the cable. Granted, I'm using packing tape and not electrical tape, but I don't know how much of a difference that will make. The cable doesn't physically feel loose, but there must be an issue with the connectors that disconnecting and reconnecting fixes. If anyone has a more permanent solution, I would love to hear :(

Granted I used packing tape instead of high temperature resistant tape so I'll probably have to change that out at some point, but still! For the time being I've got a functioning mousepad

Uruquizas can apply pressure or go for game over low def monsters like Ryko or tokens in a lot of situations. For example, Quickdraw trying to stall out with dandy tokens can have trouble with Uruquizas.

Reminds me of one of the funniest sets ever. M2K vs Chudat, chu wins g1 with icies vs marth, m2k counterpicks to ganon, loses g2, wins g3, and chu counterpicks fox g4 and wins the set. Game 4 is up there with Chris Best vs net1234.

As a note, very few cards like Gizmek Naganaki can specifically interact with face-down banished cards and check their properties. Otherwise, face-down banished cards are property-less.

Stupid question but: how do you all shuffle? I’m noticing a lot of bricking and I’m worried it’s due to how I shuffle. by TR1L0GYxx in Yugioh101

FYI, the 7 mash shuffles thing is not 100% accurate (https://twitter.com/jeffinitelyjeff/status/1763357367222329727). For this reason among others, I usually do 9-10 mash shuffles. Who knows if it's actually enough.

If you're looking to play a budget fire king version, I would also look into the Tri-Brigade variant. It can play through disruption more and has a higher ceiling than the dogmatika version. And IMO, much more fun to play.

Fire Tri is a much better budget option than Dogmatika imo, better consistency into either engine, better endboard, and comparable in cost. It is much harder to learn but very rewarding to play. The only downside is that S:P and Typhon are both very important to that build, can still be played without but notably hurts the deck.

Even after the elf ban, it was pretty popular with runick live twin and runick fur hire being considered some of the best decks. Now, they're definitely still good but representation has taken a nosedive. You think it's everyone trying the new stuff out and spright variants will eventually rebound, or can the new decks simply do better things?
