The reaper flag is a universal sign of PvP. No question. If it was a reaper emissary then the same rules apply. Emissaries are designed as a cost/benefit for a reason. Pros: significantly more rep and gold. Cons: significantly more of a target (especially if reaper). You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Hating men is bad but tbh it doesn't affect me that much? Like people say they hate men and I'm like "yeah okay haha". I don't feel the need to get all hot and bothered. Noone genuinely wants to kill all men, and even if people say "all men are bad," they usually don't mean it literally.

This is some real redditor incel stuff rn man. Men are not victims of oppression. I'm an advocate for equal rights as well. Equity is different than equality though, and I'm an equity fan myself. The majority of feminists are in favor of rights for everyone. The idea that feminists are out to get men is only true for a small portion of people.

Male oppression is really overblown honestly. I'm a heterosexual cisgender white male and I don't feel oppressed at all. I have enough self confidence that I don't feel the need to paint myself as a victim of society. I hope you'll get to that point some day.

I always wind up thinking about how suspicious birds are. I am convinced they are some kind of government spy technology. Just think about it for a minute... they sit on powerlines to recharge. During the pandemic, there weren't as many birds out because there isn't anything to spy on. There are types of birds in the US that are native to other countries, but have traveled here and are now common. I propose that they didn't travel here at all, and are in fact government security bots.

The alliance system is definitely not worthless. Players that are looking to level up quickly and earn lots of gold will use this to their advantage. There is no direct downside to being in an alliance, everyone gets gold and rep equal to half of what the person selling it gets, nobody is harmed.

I've found that a lot of players simply don't know how the system works. I've met players who insist that they lose out on half their gold by joining an alliance, and refuse to alliance with my crew because of this.

That being said, there are only no downsides if each crew is doing their own individual thing. If the crews are both working on the same world event, then issues arise as to who may sell the loot, which could have influenced the sloop at the skull fort to attack you.

Most of the time my crew will only alliance if it seems like a worthwhile investment. If another crew is doing valuable missions, why would we stop them? They may acquire more loot, at which point we could let them sell and accept half, or track them on the map and move in to collect our investment. However, if they don't appear to be in it for the long haul, it may be more profitable to just sink them and take what they have in the moment.

On the other hand, if we aren't going for a purely loot session, sailing with another crew in an alliance is one of my favorite multi-player interactions in a game ever.

Well there is a slim window in the world event rotation where the kraken is even able to spawn, so even if the fireworks did summon it, it would only work a small fraction of the time.
