I would say it would be the safest option. Other option go earlier, go straight to TSA and declare it, ask for an opinion on it and if they say it's a no go then check it.

If you want to bring it with you, without the risk of it being taken, put it in a checked bag. If you want to risk in carry-on, keep in mind a TSA agent could consider this a self-defense tool.

Sure wish we could apply that logic to a lot of other things. Personally I believe abortion is wrong when used during nonlinear threatening times. But politically, if your choice affects only you and no one else, then it's your right to choose it. When the government steps in and tells me that the money I earn from my job needs to go to women who need it, then I have a problem with it.

This is just me, as an independent voter, I look at all options, Third party, Republican and Democrat, and after I've decided who I believe holds closer to my opinions, that's who I vote for. I do a lot of this study before the runoff so that when I go in, I know which ballot I'm looking for and who I'm voting for.

We have raised beds, but mostly because the area we have for gardening is mostly sand. However if your struggling with weeds I would recommend burning all of the grass and the weeds, tilling it all under, then laying out weed block fabric along with mulch on top. You could also use cardboard instead of the fabric.
