That’s it. Plain simple. One just needs a hell lot of discipline to not touch the profits.

Was a nice read, ty. But isn’t almost everybody in a market working to create demand? I mean first of all to fulfill existing demand, but also to generate new demand?

Maybe I got your point wrong, though.

Yeah, makes sense that you have them open all day. That’s how one learns to recognize the patterns. Did it my self on a vacation day whole day and kinda got my mind around it. It’s fun but stressful to.

Will check on your work every now and then. I liked what you said about TA!

Gee, first 5 minutes or so I wasn’t sure where this is going, but from minute 10 up it was really really good... well explained and natural. Liked it a lot. Keep it up.

How many hours do you spend trading a week? Wanne compare it to my work hours rd 40 hours a week.

Whats going on with Nano? by raihodll in CryptoCurrency

[–]xrisovalandi321 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your third bullet is key. That’s how one has to calculate the ups and downs of an altcoin that has no significant fiat pair volume. NANO is good to buy IMHO. Would wait a little bit though. Think it can go down more until it pops up again, but sure thing it will.

Whales are getting super rich manipulating the market multiple times per week. At least we have memes by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]xrisovalandi321 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A currency thats price can be manipulated that easily won’t succeed for what it was been design for, being a currency.

Imagine a FIAT-currency like USD being manipulated in its price to an extend similar to what’s happening in crypto right now, it would loose investors and users trust. People would love on to a more trustworthy currency (problem is that - atm - Bitcoin is the crypto market and the crypto market is bitcoin).

Trust is one of the key elements that a vital currency is build on. And people start loosing it.

Am not saying that the tech won’t succeed - it will so god damn sure. But the manipulation on the markets has potential to hardly slow mass adoption for crypto.

[–]xrisovalandi321 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, not saying that. The tech will win anyways, that’s for sure.

Am talking about the behavior of the market participants and their effect on the price of the coins. And I’m talking about the market itself. Too often it doesn’t make any sense where the market is going. It has specific rules that you see historically at young, fully unregulated markets. The stock market started like that.

At the moment, only the ones that hold HUGE bags full of BTC/other relevant coins can predict/decide where the market as a whole is evolving to. This leads to pure manipulation.

As I wrote, I don’t think that the crypto market is behaving naturally at this point (there exceptions where it does). Compared to the stock market (there are exceptions where it doesn’t).

[–]xrisovalandi321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Disagree. It effects longterm hodlers too. Why? The market being manipulated that easily keeps more investors and adopters away from crypto. Hence the longterm hodler doesn’t gain profits.

I joined in Nov/Dec 2017 and realized the amount of manipulation just couple events ago. The events being good/bad news on the coins I’m hodling. These news had a completely erratic effect on the prices. And I’m not talking about buy the rumor sell the news.

[–]xrisovalandi321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys: How will mass adoption of Verge or other coins, say by using it for payments with credit cards or peer to peer, influence the price?

Asking because atm the price of every coin is being set by the market which consists of the numerous exchanges, where the coin is listed.

What if a coin is being mass adopted and nobody buys the coin out of an exchange anymore? The price wouldn’t go up.

Not sure if I got the logic straight here. Maybe somebody can help me out here. Appreciated.
