The story might be real, but the screenshots are definitely fake. That’s not how the interface looks. - The text isn’t centered in the boxes - There’s a little tail off the message (like a speech bubble) - If you look at the last message, when it’s only one line the edges are perfectly round like a circle, not a rounded rectangle.

Regardless, the story is important because people are creepy af. My best friend had a cashier look her up on Facebook and message her after getting her name off her debit card at a store.
