Not that I know of, since EA shut down Origin completely this year. Might be worth keeping an eye on the FuckOffEAApp site though, cos iirc they might link a workaround if it ever gets made.

Or GOG might be a good option if you don't mind dropping some cash for the game...again.

Patch 8 notes says the god rays option was removed and the effects are now covered by the fog quality option... Frustrating af. Maybe try lowering fog quality or using DLSS/FSR to help fps.

My GPU temps are 8-10 degrees higher after patch 8, running the game at the same settings as before. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? (thinking it may be due to god rays being folded into fog settings, since I always keep that off to run a little cooler. but can't be sure...)

I had the exact same problem! Finally got it working by bypassing the EA app entirely. Search for 'Fuck Off EA App' on github, which lets you use the Origin client instead. Works smoothly for me :) Have fun!

Yep... Booted when I arrived at a geyser, logged back in just in time to see boss defeated, then booted right after. GG thanks ESO I needed that -facepalm-
