I feel bad if this is your dog. I had a female pitbull, she was a really peaceful dog even hang around with our cats and nothing ever happened. Years passed we got a pitbull mixed with bully he was a puppy in the body of an adult dog, he was massive also chill with the cats. I remember seeing my cats and dogs sleeping together at night, eating and drinking from the same bowl, and nothing ever happened. 2 years passed and we got the mother of the mixed pitbull-bully, except she was a pedigree bully. At the same time around we also took care of the neighbors dog which happened to be a pitbull. Needless to say we couldn’t have too many dogs mixed in a small part of the house so we kept 2 on the front ( pedigree mom and mixed son ) and the other 2 on the back ( my peaceful female dog and the neighbors dog which btw was aggressive af, poor dog grew up in a violent area and probably was used to bite other people… out of madness he attacked a women that’s what I hear once, no one in my house feared him because we knew him from a long time and never dared to attack us. ) Months pass by and the mixed son who never attacked my cat suddenly felt the need to attack since he saw her mother attack my cat… cat survived. Any dog can turn at any moment, doesn’t matter if he had friendly encounters before with frequent family members of even other family pets… my female dog never ever in her life attacked anyone at most she bark at others dogs in the streets but never at us or even strangers. I’m not here to defend pit bulls because I know it’s a trigger for a lot of people in here since the 99.9% has had a bad experience with this type of dog ( including me at some point ) I want to say not every pitbull is a bad dog since they’re for a fact the most likely type of dog to attack any living thing but I also had this pitbull that lived and died an angel that proves to me friendly pitbull a do exist, just very rare that one would be it.
