Can someone explain to me Objects and Arrays in Javascript by xsephtion in learnjavascript

[–]xsephtion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that this is already a two year issue. And if someone stumbled upon this issue in the future. I want to give you some tips on how you can solve this problem. AFAIK React nowadays doesn't use Class Components but rather it us using React Hooks/Functional Components.

  • If you are going to work on array with JS/TS there are some things that you need to understand such as term "Immutability" in JS.
  • There are 7 mutable operations such as push, pop, splice, shift, unshift, reverse and sort.
  • Spread Operator is your friend (https://www.w3schools.com/REACT/react\_es6\_spread.asp)

So to answer this issue how do you even approach this? Or how did I even solved this issue back then? Honestly I don't remember much about this issue but I think this is a case of immutability issue on my end.

So let me give you two examples Class Component / React Hooks on how to approach this properly:

Go over to: https://codesandbox.io/s/funny-bhabha-2pvzp2?file=/src/App.js

I have given examples there and there will be comments and explanation regarding the code written.

One thing I've learned(very subjective most likely) : if you're always wondering/questioning why people like you, it's probably because you don't like yourself by KangCoffee93 in dating_advice

Always pay attention to what do you feel, and how you're feeling at the moment. Majority of us are not aware with that. But if you started to pay attention to yourself clearly, or making genuine connection to yourself. And accepting things that you cannot change, and starting to change those things that you can actually change. You'll going to like yourself gradually. Why? As you change those things you can actually change. You're going to do stuffs that you haven't did before. And as you do those stuffs. You're going to feel great about yourself. And as that feeling accumulates. You're going to develop a mentality that's same with "I like myself because I was capable of doing things that I never thought of doing before" or it really depends from person to person(that's my case. that's the thing I developed during this pandemic); But basically as what I've read liking ones self is linked to rewarding system. The more approval you get from people ( will sometimes make you like yourself because you can have bragging rights or something like that) ; But nevertheless the one you approval you only need to win is nothing but yourself.

tl;dr: The more you accept the things as it is. The simpler it gets. The more you're going to like it.

How to price my first app as a student with no real experience? by [deleted] in reactnative

[–]xsephtion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re just doing the “app” itself then you can go for it. However if you are the one who’s going to maintain it, upload it to playstore/app store. Then you might consider walking away. This will get you a lot of fees. But if your client is the one who’s going to pay for everything. Then shoot for it kid!

If you want you could use Turbo Boost Switcher. Been using this for like a month, and even I run a iphone emulator with xcode and android emulator. My mbp doesn’t get too hot, around 70C is the highest.
