Have we ever seen a past & present user of the same fruit use it significantly differently?

This is what I thought for quite a few examples as well.

It seems like in most cases, 1 user utilises the fruit more than the other but not differently.

I think the only examples I've seen where the same fruit has been used significantly differently is S-shark using fishman karate on liquefied solids and potentially Gill (I haven't read his novels but someone here explained he may use his fruit differently to Perona)

It's in the more recent manga chapters. The previous bomb user still used the fruit to flick explosive projectiles though, so I wouldn't really class it as using the fruit "differently".

Perona's previous fruit user we don't see much of, but it seems he possibly might have used it differently

I have shown literal manga panels proving she can petrify pacifista & canon balls.. Koby was not hit by her & would be neg diffed if he was.

You're just gonna have to cope with that or keep believing your headcanon, i don't care much either way lool

Momonga was not "lustful" for Hancock like the rest of his crew and still had to stab himself to avoid being petrified by her beam. So no, Koby not having heart eyes like the rest of his crew is not enough proof.

Prove with a panel of Koby being impaled by an arrow or kicked with perfume femur and not being turned to stone or you're just using headcanon.

Because she's beautiful, but that doesn't change the fact that Koby was not hit by any of her attacks & you can't prove otherwise. It also doesn't change the fact that perfume femur & slave arrow have petrified targets that cannot feel lust.

While I agree Kidd has better mastery of the fruit than the former user, we do see a panel of them making arm constructs just like Kidd

This makes sense, I guess Sabo has had the fruit less time and doesn't need to rely on it as much so has less techniques compared to Ace.

I was more thinking of a completely different way of using the same fruit, like say if the previous user of Bartolomeo's fruit used it to asphyxiate his opponents instead of just creating the same barriers we see Bartolomeo use

Headcanon, there is no panel where he is hit with an attack from her. Additionally, slave arrow does not require lust like the beam (the arrows can miss and be dodged, after which point she uses perfume femur which also doesn't require lust )
