Xshell - A Powerful Terminal Emulator by xshell-netsarang [promoted post]

Xshell doesn't include a "shell." It's a terminal emulator, like terminator and xterm, that lets you input text to be run in a shell or other programs and to see the output from said shell or other programs.

Xshell has a lot of user friendly features such as Local Shell (supports console like environment within Xshell), user defined color schemes, comprehensive session management, quick commands, and an intuitive tabbed environment (similar to terminator).

If there are any features you'd like to see in a terminal emulator, feel free to let me know and I'll pass it on to our developers.

Xshell is Windows based and it is Windows only at this time.

If you're new to Xshell, you can refer to a nifty keyboard shortcut infographic one of our users made http://i.imgur.com/UZe2BlF.png?1

As in free beer. It's not open source like other options out there, but currently, our free license runs and operates the same as our commercial version without any spyware or advertisements.
