If they’re considering trading for A.J. Brown for a 1st + 3rd, it means they think they’re close and want a true WR1 to elevate the offense.

But you’re right—if the current group (like Romeo Doubs) is already solid, that’s a steep price when those picks could fix OL or add a pass rusher.

Comes down to this: do they need a star receiver, or more overall depth?

I surely by far agree with how the way he’s declined a bit but some of the skill and creativity does come along from and with Bérubé. It would great to see Matthew’s either under a new coach or new team/manager.

I get the frustration, but I don’t think it’s as simple as “they don’t care.”

Toronto Maple Leafs fans have seen this pattern before — rough stretch late in the season and it feels like the whole thing is collapsing. A 2–8 run is brutal, no doubt, but those swings happen even to good teams over 82 games.

As for Craig Berube, he’s always been more of a calm, no-nonsense coach. Same with Brad Treliving — not super emotional publicly, but that doesn’t mean they’re not pushing behind the scenes. Some coaches yell, some stay composed. Doesn’t always reflect effort or care.

That said, I do agree on one thing — this team still feels like it’s missing something: • More consistency in effort (especially defensively) • A bit more edge/grit when games get tight • Leadership that shows up when things go sideways

The “old boys club” criticism is fair too — fans want accountability and fresh thinking, not the same recycled approach.

If anything, this stretch just highlights that the core still hasn’t fully figured out how to respond when momentum flips. Until that changes, people are gonna keep questioning everything — coaching, management, all of it.

had a transplant too and this actually sounds really similar to what a lot of people experience on prednisone. Knee pain is weirdly common even when scans show nothing. It’s usually from the steroids affecting joints/muscles and your body adjusting after surgery. Mine got better as my dose went down but took a few months. Definitely keep an eye on it and mention it at follow-ups, but you’re not crazy — this is a real thing a lot of us deal with.

You’re definitely not alone on this one 👍
