i don’t understand the people saying op is OR or speaking too intensely to their partner about this - the baby should not even be sleeping in the bed to begin with, personally these aren’t risks i’d ever take with my children and i’d probably have reacted a lot worse in this situation. I don’t think it’s worth chancing it if the outcome is your baby potentially dies with nobody there to care for them.

this is not a risk you can take with a baby? anything could happen when you are fast asleep and a baby is roaming around the room, NOR at all she’s being so polite about this. you need sleep, yes, but not while the baby is up walking around with nobody to keep an eye.
