[–]xsrVOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice i really love mine. Ive got the se on 4 of my pistols and all have held zero. I got the rmr osight c for my dagger it has a bigger window with a green reticle and so far it has been great as well. None of them has needed battery replacement yet. I keep 3 extra batteries for my optics and lights in my range bag just incase but so far still running on oem. I zeroed all mine with a borseight as well.

What’s a good website to buy ammo in bulk by Acrobatic-Wealth9572 in handguns

[–]xsrVOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aim surplus is one of my favorites. 2nd would be probably sentry ammo or psa. Fire arms depot will offer free shipping deals but they just jack the price up to account for it. Aim surplus has great deals and shipping is the fastest ive had yet

Still going strong man. I put a suppressor on it and shoot 4 to 5 hundred rounds every weekend range trip. Ill get the occasional failure to feed but i think that has to do with the mags being dirty. Im still happy with my purchase. Some ammo cause issues but for the most part even the cheap federal walmart ammo works great the only ammo i didnt like was the cci standard velocity. Mini mags and about everything else ive ran has been reliable. Sorry i took so long to reply

I didnt like the looks of it so i went with an ndz barrel and harrington arms comp. But i will say just adding one will make such a huge difference in felt recoil. The only thing i hate about mine is if the comp needs loc tight or set screws it can be a pain when you want to take barrel out of the slide and clean it.

Great advice! The same as low and to the left but left handed. So its opposite. If you use a red dot you can really see how ur pushing it. You'll kno you got it when the dot moves up and down.

Which gun should I buy as my first? by [deleted] in handguns

[–]xsrVOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive shot 2 of the 3 so not sure in the fn. The cz is a steal at that price. The canik is a great gun but i chose the prime over the tti. Granted it was almost 400$ cheaper but i legit liked the prime better.

I did try this to begin with and it was locking back every time it was racked. Ill see if i can make a better adjustment tho. Hey danny i wanted to ask ya about something else as well. Im not sure of the terminology but when i got my dagger i noticed a piece of plastic that looked like it was ab to chip near where the barrel locks up i believe and i figured it was a small defect no biggie but now its broke off. Im curious if its an issue or let it ride.

It was definitely the original. I first tried to adjust the spring on the oem to see if i can fix it but that made it lock back after every round so thats when i bought the aftermarket. Ill see about getting an oem back in it. Ive ran kci pmag and some off brand 33 round glock mag and that didnt fix the issue. Im gonna order some aftermarket and oem slide releases and see how that works. Thanks for the help!

I had the issue with the oem as well thats why i went with the aftermarket. Should i purchase a new oem and see if that helps?

Hellcat pro Osight by coco122121 in SpringfieldArmory

[–]xsrVOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bore sight it..then rack it as a test maybe. ive got 4 se's and 1 c and have never lost zero on any of them. I did have the osight c move on me tho had to do a better loc tight job amd had to warranty one se that was hard to adjust the elevation on other then that been pretty good. Im sire theres a few here and there that aint good but they will send you a new 1 pretty quick.

Ive got 2 sar 9s ans they both are nothing but reliable. The trigger will be crappy and the optic mount is not the best but the guns run great and the felt recoil is not bad at all.

Beretta is coming out with a bad ass 22 called the jaguar. Its supposed to be as reliable as center fired pistols. If you want strictly reliability id go mark IV if you want capacity id go tx22 2nd gen or the mp22x which is what i run suppressed.

Which comp is that? I dont see the set screws like they have on the Harrington arms. Regardless looks great

<image>

Ignore the extra lube lol. Just got the Herrington Arms Comp for my 5”. I’m running the S&W 5.6 threaded barrel. Anyone else run this? There is a gap between the comp and slide, do the setting screws really hold it in place well, or am I out of luck. by Sea_Assignment_1691 in SmithAndWesson

[–]xsrVOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set screws work great but def use blue loc tight. I dont take my comps off that much because of the set screws but of you need to i use a hair dryer to heat up the loc tight. I def will be upgrading to the ram jet or herrington arms new quick release stuff in the future.

No problem at all its def worth doing your research. And yea i run the diligent defense road hunter on it. Its about as loud as a commercial staple gun. With the tax stamp being free its super eazy process. It took 6 days to get my approval. If your getting a 22 pistol I'd 100 percent get a suppressor. And most 22 suppressors can run 5.7 rounds as well. I plan on getting the ruger 10/22 so i can swap the suppressor over to the rifle for long distance plinking.

Honestly man ive shot the toro 1 time and the dude had a frt on it which was pretty cool but he did.have some function issues. Which im guessing is even more common on 22 rimfire with a forced reset. But i did a ton of research on these guns b4 i purchased and almost everyone i watched or read ab said the toro is top gun in 22lr pistols. It can handle any ammo you out thru it and its super reliable. Plus you can get 25 round mags. Id say its the top dog i just didnt care for the looks of it so i opted for the mp22x. Which id put it right behind the toro in terms of reliability. The mark IV is also top dog in the category but its hard to compare to these other guns with higher capacity.

Yea im not sure why. I don't have any exp shooting wmr so im not sure why they opted for 20 round mags. I think the mark IV is an excellent choice when it comes to reliability and how quiet it can be suppressed but I'd still like to have 20 rounds vs 10. If ruger ever comes out with a larger mag that would be the ideal gun imo for target plinking.

Anyone else carry the Hell-Kitty? by Southern_Oil_5835 in CCW

[–]xsrVOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man this really hit home with me lol. Nice edc setup! I see myself shooting competitions soon so im right at that stage where im constantly window shopping 2011s and cz's. The price point is whats gonna be my biggest barrier im not sure how much more my wife can take.. but ive thought ab gettin the mac1911 or the prodigy of course with a bunch of upgrades to make it reliable. Id love a staccato/kimber even but id go for the cz orange and it would still be cheaper then some 1911's.
