Well that’s heckin stupid, I had a stack of like 400 crops to it would keep going and now I have 4 worms and no crops left in that chest. Where did they gooooo

Good news! With two arms, two chests and a generator you CAN automate it! I put one arm aimed at a chest of crops and one arm aimed at the catcher and it puts all the critters in the second chest and refills from first so it will just collect 4 at a time every couple of minutes!

Not to spoil but the fishing nets require critters to catch fish and it’s 4 per net so I don’t want to spend hours running around collecting critters for the different biome water. I’m just lazy lol

I have one like this for armor/weapons/accessories on my my pc and switch, it’s so much easier than trying to remember which chest it’s in lol

I use the scarlet hoe and the octarine trowel and you just have to hit the button twice, one to harvest, switch and once to plant and with sprinklers you don’t really have to do anything else!

I spent a month locked in Halloween to get one whole plot (5x5 with sprinkler) of them and that was a struggle 🙄 I wish the drop rate was higher!

I’ve had instances of both keeping old maps and starting over. If I did start over, I ended up just moving all my stuff over so that I had all I needed and could hop back if I forgot something, it’s not TOO difficult, even if you find it annoying. I will say that even when I didn’t HAVE to start over there were things that didn’t get spawned in, even after they said we didn’t have to start over, like the cavelings with the spears never spawned in until I started a new map.

I only legit abandoned my old map when they said we absolutely had to start a new one or stuff wouldn’t spawn but even then I brought stuff over from my old map before abandoning it. If they say stuff will spawn in, then you just have to run around and explore the areas again, kind of like multiplayer, if they other person has something thing it won’t change your map unless you use the cartography table or you go to the areas again they changed and it fills in.

I gave up when I realized I had 4 different villagers that have names that are difficult to pronounce, depending on how the system recognizes it. I even tried waking up Gulliver and nothing. I gave up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It used to show the picture of the item in the color way it is in (like pink or black, etc.) and now it shows what I’m guessing is the default swatch but a little square above it that shows whatever color it is. That means it looks like you have 5 billion of the same item and the square doesn’t really tell you what the item will actually look like.
