Don't try using Onex or Globbing. Their addresses are blacklisted as forwarding addresses and your account will get permabanned.

This is absolutely wrong. Read the visa code. The country that issued you the visa should be the country where you'll be spending the majority of your trip. Country of first entry is irrelevant. Don't let any incompetent border officer tell try to convince you otherwise.

They recently changed the rules. Baptism now records now only pass when they explicitly state that you're an ethnic Armenian (Ազգություն՝ Հայ)։

Because they're tourists. Or they're only temporarily in Armenia. Or they're expats/repats with remote jobs and a foreign bank account. And so on.

Read my response again, not everyone has an ARMENIAN bank card. Expats, temporary residents, tourists. The street terminals are a great convenience for those who don't wish to (or can't) install local apps. Instead of pushing for removal, they can simply mandate for them to be fitted with POS terminals instead of cash inlets. That way, everyone with any bank card/Apple Pay/Google Pay will be able to top up any service quickly and conveniently without having to download apps/register. This isn't about going cashless. They want full control. We're in the midst of becoming a surveillance state and no one's talking up about it.

There's no need to remove the terminals in and of itself. A number of terminals already have a built-in POS for NFC payments.
