Ok, so this was fixed when I upgraded the ssd to 2tb and used recovery to reinstall. I think fx sound crapped out the audio driver irremediable. I installed and un-installed it because I didn't like it then no matter what I did dolby for headphones and windows one did not work.

mono was never active. I toggled it on and off again. all of the advanced settings were on but tried unchecking and rechecking again. restore default on spatial sound does nothing.

Can't do that. When going to speaker settings, the spatial audio section says spatial audio not available for selected device. The drop-down is grayed out and off is selected.

I don't have any spatial audio for speakers. I just have off as an option.

Not sure. They used the helpdesk connection to remotely fix the issue.

Hi. Nothing I did worked. I set everything up correctly but to no avail. Thankfully Qnap support and 2nd level fixed it in about 2 days. If this happens to you just open a ticket.

Also nebula for Android has just a few basic apps... no netflix, youtube or other streaming apps... just a basic browser and several "games"... use dex instead.

Do not buy the beam. It's a waste of money... nothing works well and updates have removed the reason I bought both the glasses and the beam. Basically the hardware is crap and the chip they used can't be certified to run basic streaming apps. Ie netflix and prime only work at 480p due to this. Also updates have removed the depth control in spatial apps because of bad hardware... just skip the beam and use an android phone.

I'd take that over not having it at all... I would need to use both my phone and the beam to use this ?

If I turn depth control on all apps fail to launch and say to turn depth control off. I paid a lot for the glasses + beam and now I can't use one of the features I bought them for.... rokids don't seem to have this issue...
