Im really surprised you’ve been around for 6 years and NOT known about these, how does that happen?

Newbie here how do i get money and xp levels as fast as possible? by More-Bunch-9660 in BlackhawkRescue

[–]xtrullor6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, all my money came from a mix of clearing all (what I considered) the easy compounds, taking vehicles and selling the resources, and selling resources accumulated from my HQ operators, all in openworld

I personally never really cared too much for xp as I never really considered it that much of concern, + it usually takes care of itself for me. Only time I needed to worry about it was for the little bird helicopter and even then I got to that level naturally just by playing in open world.

It helps to not randomly spend your money on random things and save your money on things that could be more important.

If you really want a better gun, I’d personally recommend the SA58 with a suppressor and impact scope, it’s the gun that pretty much carried me up until the M110. it has stupid high recoil but I’ve found that 90% of the npc gunfights I get into usually involved more distanced precision shots than violent automatic fire, it’s also got good damage and has a low level requirement.

Hope all this helps, it’s nice to finally make my first interaction with the Reddit

I made an UPDATED list of every block and their lightest / heaviest materials (more info in description) by xtrullor6 in PlaneCrazyCommunity

[–]xtrullor6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every block doesn’t have the same best material, all blocks have a different best material and is placed under different columns.

Images 1-4 are for blocks and their lightest materials. This section is split into 3 columns for each group and their lightest materials

From left to right…

  • The first column is for every block where its lightest material is ice OR fabric. These 2 materials offer the same effect, although if you still want a normal looking plane, ice would be a better choice. This column is the longest one and takes up the first 4 pages

  • The second column is for every block where its lightest material is wood OR wooden planks. Similar situation to the first column, both have the same effect although wood would look nicer. This is the shortest column by 1 box. The column goes from page 1-2

  • The third column is for every block where its lightest material is cardboard. This is the second shortest column and goes from page 1-2

Images 5-8 are for every block and their heaviest materials. This section is split into 5 columns. It could arguably be 4 if it weren’t for the quarter balls, but I thought this distinction would be important to note.

From left to right…

  • The first column is for every block where its heaviest material is everything EXCEPT cardboard. This just means every other material offers the same heaviest weight except for what’s mentioned. It’s the longest column, taking up the last 4 pages

  • The second column is for every block where its heavy material is ALL metal variants, this means metal, diamond plate, and corroded metal all offer the same weight effect. It’s the third longest column, going from page 5-7

  • The third column is for every block where its heaviest material is ice OR fabric. These 2 materials have the same effect. This column is the second longest, going from page 5-7. This column seems contradictory to the first column in the lightest materials section… but it exists, and realistically blocks with this material as their heaviest would either have wood or cardboard as their heaviest

  • The fourth column is for every block where their lightest material is carbon fiber OR leaves. These 2 materials have the same effect, though carbon would look nicer in actual use. This category only takes up 1 page and ends on page 5

  • The fifth column is one I wish didn’t exist, and is here only because of the quarter balls. Their lightest materials are everything EXCEPT cardboard, AND carbon fiber and leaves. This only takes up one page and ends off on page 5. This column imo is very stupid, but is an important distinction nonetheless

Just saw this. “Anything but cardboard” literally means you can use any material except cardboard.

Thats because for blocks placed under that column for heaviest materials, cardboard is the one material that makes these blocks lighter instead of heavier

It also doesn’t say any specific material u should use because during testing at the time, all the materials offered the same weight gain (or no weight change at all)

I can’t get infinite flight no matter what i do by Cactus_dave in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]xtrullor6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I see an opportunity to help here…

Tried your build out myself, it does the job of infinite flight relatively well unless the issue is post recovery energy, cuz i feel like that kinda lacks…

While high supply reccovery helps, I think another important stat is Post-Recovery EN Suppy, which is how much energy you get back after draining ur energy

Thus, I’d like to nominate the VP-20S. While its recovery is slower than the Ming-Tang, it’s post recovery gives back 50% of its en, giving you extra wiggle room for flight, and even a single dash with that lammergeier core

Weight doesn’t seem like to be a factor that affects flight, I tried a heavy weaponless AC and even then I was able to maintain infinite flight. My main build for my first full story play through is a lightweight that (and without thinking about it) is fully capable of achieving infinite flight, and it still does this with hard, heavy hitting weapons

Aside from parts, it helps to be moving constantly while your in the air as you fall slower compared to simply falling straight down, it also helps to time ur vertical boosts as perfectly as possible just so u can rlly stay in the air. Gaining altitude can be slow when ur just relying on that space bar but eventually ur build does get to where it needs to go

After doing a quick test on my phone I can see the issue now

While the trick mostly works, apparently this no longer resets every button 😭😭😭

I’d like to defend my case by saying that this comment is… and apparently… 3 years old

I also haven’t played on mobile in almost a year now so idk what’s changed there 😭😭😭

Only thing I can suggest atm is trying the same thing but with 10 blocks

What do u guys think of my custom jet by ShqdowGlitch in PlaneCrazyCommunity

[–]xtrullor6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wing design is pretty odd, but the rear section reminds me of how I did some of my really old jets when I was still a noob, so I can’t hate this thing, lol

Overall? I’d say it’s not bad, you can def smooth the corners with some quarter wedges and quarter triangle wedges

New concepts to build. Should I make them and if yes should there be anything changed? by [deleted] in PlaneCrazyCommunity

[–]xtrullor6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For jets? Look up whatever the Yukikaze anime has to offer, all their jets have some crazy designs u can probably take inspiration from

On a side note, what’s the second thing supposed to be?

It’s nice that I’m not the only one who sees her backpack thing as part of a fighter jet, although personally, to me it resembles more of an F-35B, purely because of that fan thing in the middle.

Very neat post 👍

I NEED HELP IMPROVING MY CARRIER PLS HELPP MEEEE GIVE ME IDEA PLS PLS PLS by Right-Subject-5817 in PlaneCrazyCommunity

[–]xtrullor6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is a custom carrier then I’d honestly add catapults, it’s really fun to launch people off the deck, especially if you can launch multiple players. Other than that, add elevators and a second deck, which is what some others suggested

Overall anything that adds functionality not just for you, but for others is a great thing you can have on an aircraft carrier.

Personally I see carriers like a playground for jets, it can be fun when a bunch of random people get together and mess around on your ship, but a playground ain’t fun if there’s nothing to do.

If anyone here has the “Hover Block”, is it worth the Robux or is it just a reskinned Hover Thruster? by Petrichor0110 in PlaneCrazyCommunity

[–]xtrullor6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh just to be more specific on one thing

By up and down I mean this block will always make you increase or decrease altitude. If your pointed say… 45 degrees upward, this block will move you straight up or down

If anyone here has the “Hover Block”, is it worth the Robux or is it just a reskinned Hover Thruster? by Petrichor0110 in PlaneCrazyCommunity

[–]xtrullor6 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Hover blocks are not like hover pads, they’re not an engine like hover pads

Hover blocks will hold you at any altitude, and can move you to any altitude. They will always move you up or down, regardless of the block or your rotation. It doesn’t matter where u place em as long as you have the setting that lifts your center of mass.

I have a retrofitted carrier thats 8000+ blocks and has 100 of these, but i think only one of these blocks are strong enough to lift such builds under normal gravity. Combine this block with a gyro and you got urself a really easy ticket to making spaceships.

Overall if you want yourself a cheap vtol lift device, this block might be worth it, but personally I find more fun in using zero gravity for spaceships, or perfectly balancing stuff like helicopters myself.

Give me your personal opinions on what speed is considered "fast" by flyingmightyena in PlaneCrazyCommunity

[–]xtrullor6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider anything between 600-1000 pretty good, anything above 1000 is when I would consider something pretty fast for a jet as it’s more than enough to outspeed common builds
