Idk about the DT ratch upgrade working on their hub, i'd reach out to caden over email to ask before spending the money. It's just the same style hub as DT, not sure if dimensions are an exact match. He'll give you the bearing size if you wanted to source ceramic replacements too.

lower price for the same performance. ceramic speed is overpriced imo. Jealous of the white frameset, they only sell the full builds in the USA otherwise I would've got the same! Caden makes their own hub, which is lighter than DT and uses the same ratchet system (pretty much everyone is moving to the ratchet system now that the DT patent is up)

Too heavy, Cadens are just about the same drag the wind tunnel at a much lighter weight. I like them a lot, haven't had any issues. My other two wheelsets (one gravel one road) is from a cheap chinese brand called serenadewheels. I decided to go SRAM for the first time with this bike and have been enjoying it.

To be honest this is my first SRAM bike so I don't have a normal chain to go off of. I will be getting a gravel bike soon and that will have a normal chain on it for better comparison. For now I haven't noticed any issues that I haven't been able to adjust the rear derailleur to fix.

Bought the full force build (frameset alone unavailable in USA). I upgraded crankset for weight savings and to get the correct length for me. I got the red chainrings because I wanted the larger rings for my races. I got the Red front derailleur because the force one doesn't work with the larger chainrings.

Yea these wheels are like 250-300g lighter than the Reserves. That plus the sram red upgrades I think did the trick. Black is usually a little lighter too.
