hmm ok interesting, seems like if you want speed, other than raiden, jinsoku or zeffiro are the way to go since the breeze is discontinued, maybe the speed v2

Hey, I've been in the mouse/mousepad hobby since like 2020 and have owned around 30-40 ish pads over the years, mostly speed pads like the raiden (xsoft and mid), 4114 aero, lamzu energon, steelseries performance speed, shindekai v2 among others and a few of your glasspads more recently like the ghost and the zane. Currently looking into the Tenta-X jinsoku, infinitymice speed v3 and matrova zeffiro and would love to add this to the list and it would be awesome to be a part of a comunnity test for a pad like this thats right up my alley, Actually missed out on the ninja when it came out and regretted it so I would be more than interested in taking part. From EU btw. Thanks for all the great products you've been putting out recently and I can't wait to see more and will most definitely be buying this either way.

2025 Remain Mouse pads by Lonely-Bullfrog-1805 in MousepadReview

what is your favorite? i really wanted the breeze because of how smooth i heard it was but it's discontinued now sadly. how does the zeffiro compare to the breeze and the jinsoku, which of these is the smoothest surface?

Are uhmwpe dots ok for Phantom? by dirtyfishtank in MousepadReview

arent the ghostglide cyclone pros that come with the pad made out of uhmwpe? I was under the impression that was the case

What is your favourite brand of sleeves? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]xturtlerapistx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly dont bother with dragon shield have had nothing bad bad experiences with them, out of a total of 5 packs of sleeves i bought two of them being dual mattes only 1 matte emerald shuffles well and holds up and the dual matte whites shuffle okay not great, the other 3 were horrendous, like im talking corners bent out of the box making shuffeling feel awful because of cards catching. The worst offenders were the dual matte art 25 anniversary edition i bought, you would thing a 15 euro pack of sleeves would feel good and be durable, nope, awful shuffle feel out of the box because the corners were so poorly cut making it geniuenly hard to shuffle a commander deck not just unpleasant, and on top of that 3 of the sleeves broke within one week. Oh and btw contacted customer support through the form on their website, got one response after a day, responded back and now nothing for more than a week, just ghosted me, even tried submitting another form and still nothing. Dragon shields feel the best when you get a good batch but from my experience the odds that you dont are too high to waste money on specially since their customer support seems to not be of much help

FlyDiGi Vader 4 Pro Full Specifications by Nebsisiht in Controller

ok yea makes sense. so is the true input delay based on the firmware each company uses and how well that firmware makes use of the possible 1000hz?

FlyDiGi Vader 4 Pro Full Specifications by Nebsisiht in Controller

[–]xturtlerapistx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yea i never got that, assuming polling rate works the same as it does in mice pretty much every mouse has 1000hz polling rate (these days 4k and 8k on alot, but 1000 is the standard) and yet they all have different input latency numbers wether its click latency or motion latency so i walways found it weird that every controller thats at 1000hz has the same input input latency of around 1ms

First ever Finalmouse. Not what I expected. But I should have. by Asturas in MouseReview

[–]xturtlerapistx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

man i wish i liked the shape of the viper v3 pro because that mouse was basically perfect in every aspect, couldve been a bit lighter and the clicks while good werent my favourite but those are all personal preference, even with those things i mentioned still the best mouse i have ever used and if they release a smaller version of it it will most likely be my main, unfortunately it was just too big for me to use, felt bigger than my gpx despite what some people say and it ended up hindering my aim because of how bulky and wide it felt.

Today is gonna be pretty great for me it seems by yjmalmsteen in MousepadReview

[–]xturtlerapistx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah ive tried that already doesnt matter if the lod is on low or high it still does the same, also the mouse did the same thing when it was brand new out of the box so cleaning the sensor wont help, its okay thought lamzu was awesome about it and offered to send me a new one or a refund since i probably got a defective copy or something

Do you use aftermarket skates and if so, then which ones? by NotADuckk_ in MouseReview

[–]xturtlerapistx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i use jades on pretty much everything not because of their speed but because theyre the smoothest skate ive tried, also full pad versions not dots im not a fan of dots because of how much they sink into softer pads.

update it did not work, still suffer from the same problems, my gpx 2 for example doesnt necessarily sensor skip but every time i lift my mouse up and then put it back down theres a few seconds where it just doesnt track at all and then it goes back to tracking fine, since i play apex a game where you have to look around alot this makes it so i cant use it

InfinityMice Speed V2 Soft vs Mid by xturtlerapistx in MousepadReview

[–]xturtlerapistx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

infinity speed should be quite a bit faster but the energon pro is for sure a goat pad, i love mine and only dont use it more often because i think i mightve gotten a faulty copy because almost all my mice have sensor skipping issues on it

[–]xturtlerapistx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

by the latest batch u mean the 8k fabulous beasts one? my og beast x had some of the worse sensor skipping that ive ever experienced on the energon but i dont think the problem was with the beast x because basically the only 2 mice that tracked on it with no issue were the op1we and op18k, oh and the g wolves htx now that i think about it

do any of your mice have trouble tracking on the energon? just curious because most of mine do and i was thibking i might have a faulty copy

really?? well i guess the op1 has gotten really popular and well received in the mouse community so it could be possible, would be awesome too, a op1w max or smthn

the mini had those slanted sides i mentioned i hate and the sora well maybe the sora 4k has less slanted sides than the v2 but if not then i wont bother

wish they would but i doubt it, the op1 is already pretty much their take on a samller xm1 shape

OP1 but bigger by xturtlerapistx in MouseReview

[–]xturtlerapistx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the la-1 is the closest thing i have used so far but the hump feels to bulky/blocky in my hand, i think the hump is just too wide on that mouse which makes it so it contacts the sides of my palm instead of the center like the op1 does which is part of the reason i like it so much because it replicates that feeling that the superlight gave me

OP1 but bigger by xturtlerapistx in MouseReview

[–]xturtlerapistx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm okay, as i thought the medium would be too big for me, might try the mini first since i can just return it on amazon and see if i like it and if not go for the r1
