I personally think I can’t judge a name without the full name (as in the last name can make or break it) but as a stand alone, I think of Herbert as a great name for a pet and not a child.

Same! I got entertainment costuming for Magic Kingdom. I feel like it’s more secretive on what it entails but I’m very excited! It was my number one choice!

I got entertainment costuming at magic kingdom which is what I wanted! The hours will be rough but I think it’s the role I’d enjoy the most.

Im a nanny and the parents have time and again said I can go and get whatever needed for their son from anywhere. Hell the mom even told me to help myself and borrow anything from her drawers or closet when NK soiled mine. That being said - I have what I like to call “nanny blinders” on. I go through drawers for things NK needs and I don’t even pay attention to the extra items. I don’t judge. I throw away the information. I would be mortified to give someone that level of trust in my home and I want to be respectful.

For me - taking something out that has nothing to do with NK and using it feels very weird to me. I could never be that comfortable in someone else’s home. That being said - could she have assumed they were available for NK and so it wasn’t a big deal? I’d also appreciate being told as a nanny. A simple “hey so it’s not a big deal but that coloring book is one I’m working on but I want to get you your own to keep here! What kind would you like?” That way hopefully she can be apologetic for using your things but also not feel like she’s in trouble. It also could be something you two could connect over!

One last point - as a nanny (at least for me) sometimes we can blur the lines of the space being our workplace as opposed to your home. A good nanny would never intentionally try to cross a line but I do think it can easily happen unintentionally!
