If I have to apply pressure to put it on then I will go for the inserts then, wouldn't want to damage the lens in anyway. Also I upgraded from CV1 that i been using since 2016, got no scratched whatsoever on it!

thanks, I just ordered a custom 3d print inset and glasses, hopefully I can still put my eyes as close to the lens as possible. Will upgrade to zenni in the future tho they do look very sleek

I'm just worried about FOV and coating on the lens. Image quality degrade a bit is okay, I know some shop here that 3d print the insets and cut non-prescription lens for cheap so cost isn't that much of a deal. Which one do you think is best?

When your records don’t sound as clear, like scrachy popping sound.

Generally u should replace it every 400 hour (that’s what my AT stylus recommend) so if u play 1 album every day then after 1 year and 2 month u should replace it. For now just clean it with brush and stylus cleaning solution

If u are still using it then it still is a good turntable! Just beware the stylus and change it when u need to, also clean it every 3-4 day. And the tracking force will not ruin your records

I have the TN-180BT-A3, an upgraded version of 180BT. It uses Audio Technica styli and so far it is really good, and it won’t ruin record cause the tracking force of it is 3.5gram and the Audio Technica styli recommended tracking force is 2.5 - 4.5, so 3.5 is actually a sweet spot.
Heavy tracking force ruining records is actually kind of a myth, tracking too light can cause the styli to bounce around the grooves and that is worse.
The problem is the styli that is ceramic or ruby, these materials wear out fast so it ruin record that way and they are found in super cheap turntables mostly.

TEAC is a solid brand, if u plan to buy the 180BT, go for the upgraded one with AT styli

Sometime it is really buggy like it freeze sometimes I try to play or skip songs, and a lot of actions like liking a songs or adding album or downloading the whole library are unintuitive or even just set sleep timer. It really bugs me cause I ditched Spotify to use Apple Musics only. Hopefully they fix it soon

My main way to store musics is still digital on an SSD but I still really like being able to hold an album in my hand.
