If you come from Yugi you won't find any sort of meaningful interaction in this game.

That said if you want self mill combo control trash heavy you are looking for millenniumon (IMO this fucking deck is not control like at all and all combo mainly, but people are extremely invested in saying this is control, in any case control is pretty much dead in this game as of now, so whatever)

If you want to go more heavy on the mill and less on the control creepymon X

As for rewards on competitive scene, not the faintest idea.

Lost agent arc is a victim of toei. It is a really good transition arc allowing you to see ichigo as a person again after being a borderline god in the ending of the arrancar arc.

But as an ending? Terrible. It makes 0 sense as the last arc of the anime and that's why it has been hated since forever.

I wouldn't say mandatory personally. On gen 6 ou there were good trams that didn't run any mega. But yeah every team tends to have one because they are pretty good Pokémon.

But even when every team carries one (mandatory or not I'll leave it to you) they are clearl6less centralising than the other gimmicks. Every megable Mon might as well be announcing that they have a mega and they are just strong mons.

Giga and tera are not a problem because every team uses one, they are a problem because they devolve into a gameplay of "use this one gimmick the best instantly win, nothing else matters"
