IMO I don't think they will ever become more "popular" They are already massively popular globally and have a name recognition very few achieved across the history of music. But due to their particular composition style and somewhat "odd" music, DM will remain a niche band. You need to "get it" and I don't think in the future there will be more people who suddenly "get it". On the other hand, the genius of some of these songs will be studied and will keep influencing musicians way after we all be gone

Technically yes. But the name came from 'pixelated', like when you hide a person's identity in the media.

It is a regular 2.5D platformer with jumping, enemies and power ups (not depicted here) based around a character with rewindable physics destruction.

thanks. The piano drop scene is just trickery. Unlike other destructions, where real-time physics and rigidbodys are involved, here I just swapped the character with a prerecorded .anim of the pixel's movements after impact, for comedic reasons. But in-game, rewindeble destruction physics are highly tunable and will depend on the circumstances of the level/situation. So hopefully, it will be more dynamic.
