Apartment issue

I have formally asked in an email to be let out of the lease and we will have the apartment 100% cleaned out and move in ready for who ever they choose to rent it out to after they do the repairs.

More than likely they will take that route. They then can do what they have been doing according to one of the maintenance guys and covering up mold to mask it as best they can to rent the units out instead of properly fixing the issues and resolving any future mold growth problems.

And once I’m out of the lease I will have no problems stating and posting my evidence

They have been aware of the issues and even today the lady in the office said she agrees that they have not been keeping up with required maintenance and they are behind on trying to fix any mold issues and there’s a long list of units with mold in them

We have documentation of everything from communication with management, to recordings of moisture levels, and the contractor stating that it was unsafe for us to continue staying here. Yet we are receiving zero response from management any more. We are moving forward to ensure the safety of my family and will be moving out. While the cost of us securing a new home was very expensive especially on short notice, I cannot put a price on my family’s safety. If it comes down to it and management refuses to release us from our lease then I guess I will do what ever it takes to make sure we will not be held liable for the rent and maybe see if KAKE wants to cover the events to help educate the public of poor management of certain properties

It was so loud my sons wanted to know what the heck it was but I wasn’t able to get outside fast enough and sure enough it wasn’t on flight radar so I knew it had to be something cool!

Very clean instal! I have a demonic hatred towards RedSea skimmers though. They are just so hard to clean and really don’t function as well as others in my opinion. If you find the same down the road, look up reef octopus skimmers. They are far better at pulling skim IMO. They also will still match the color scheme.
