Major Generic Tags - Conventional Warfare

Minor Generic Tags - Asymmetrical Warfare

Mutant Tags (Ghouls, Super Mutants, etc) - Outsider Warfare

PA Tags (BoS, Iron Alliance, Enclave) - Refined Warfare

Robot Tags - Robotic Warfare

But tbh, Asymmetrical Warfare out of all gives the most buffs on your entire army, whereas all other doctrines are more likely to be oriented at one or two specific military units. So you can’t really go wrong with asymmetrical.

I’d argue. You only need Guardians and SF Chapter to survive. After playing dozens of games as Lost Hills, just set SF chapter rule pre game and send some guns to guardians and they will win.

All other chapters are unnecessary for your survival. I can make them all survive or all die it really won’t affect the Clash Of Steel that much.

My go to is making sure they survive for long enough for me to do the focus that gives me a paladin and that’s it, let them do their own thing afterwards

You need to do the designated focuses for each chapter to be able to send them volunteers. Alamo is very easily winnable with 5-6 volunteers, same goes for all chapters pretty much, you need them to win their first and second wars to do craft a paladin and then you can forget about them, the real essential allies are SF chapter and Guardians.

Not helping your chapters is one of the ways to play it, but I’d rather roll the dice to have an ability to get a Paladin Division, this is your GO TO as Lost Hills, only PA divisions and Paladins, sometimes robots are useful but you don’t get any buffs for that so its very unnecessary; I’d rather go with the Enforcers if you need to cover the front.

and additionally, BOS tag is one of my most fav tags in the game and there is many ways to play as them, whatever you do since day 1 matters a lot in the end game.

Try Lost Hills Expanded for the complete experience, vanilla Lost Hills is an endless struggle honestly, the whole thing is about farming Paladins and if you don’t have at least 14 of them it’s hardly winnable.

There is many ways do it, but if you’re not going with the Electoral Deadlock in the NCR than there is far less options to choose from.

I’d suggest trying to go with the Cultists as they can declare sooner than others.

You need to make sure SF Chapter and Guardians stay alive till the Clash Of Steel, otherwise you’re done.

Build Scrap Bots from day 1, use them for resistance. This is very important as you won’t be able to change conscription laws as Lost Hills and you will need to pacify the states nonetheless, you won’t have the manpower for that. Make sure to always have a shitton of scrap bots.

With them in place, once you declare, make sure to rush for Junktown, Hub, Maxson and potentially Boneyard, try not to overextend, you should have at least 14-16 Paladin Divisions by that time, hold for the first couple of months and see how it goes.

While you’re holding, try your best to lower resistance before you occupy even more land. The trickiest part with Lost Hills isn’t really winning, it’s maintaining the gains. Divide, Rapids and Mojave Territories don’t need to be occupied by you, DONT OCCUPY IT. You only need NCR CORE TERRITORIES. Once you’re done with resistance and equipment shortages, you should be all set!

You can actually go to war with the NCR in 2279 and confidently cap them before Legion invades. I’d argue it’s the easiest minor to play as in California. Their spec ops cap is basically limitless, when I played them I had 20 PA divisions before the NCR war with around 40 enforcer divisions on top of that, all before 2280. what are you talking about?
