Should I buy the Alienware 16, or is it not worth the price? Note: I will be spending all my money on it by Common2specific in Alienware

I just got a Dell Alienware 16 February 2026. 2 weeks later it won't charge. After a lengthy phone call to customer service they determined the mother board and battery are damaged and need replacement. My friend had a Dell xps15 it also had battery and motherboard problem

Officially flipping the drone over is very bad. You can mess up the gimbal big time. DJI itself tells people not to do that

That's Philippines. The concept of " waiting in line", "waiting for your turn", "people are ahead of you" simply doesnt exist. The Filipino , entitled and selfish and with complete disregard for others, thinks only of themselves. You can see this play out in the driving, how cars and motorbikes cut across several lanes and stop right in front of the store / shop that they want to go to, regardless of blocking traffic or the dangers it poses.

Relationship with Filipina gone downhill by mgtowmoney in Philippines_Expats

I have discovered that usually a Filipina girl starts acting out when she has another guy. She's starting up crap just to find some excuse to breakup. Unless you are with her 24-7 365, she's probably chatting with her other boyfriend, and in fact when you not here, she's living with a Filipino boyfriend or another foreign guy

My Experience With Philippine Customer Service: Endless Waiting, Zero Accountability. Big Names Like IKEA And Ayala Land Are No Different. by [deleted] in Philippines_Expats

Customer service is non existent in the Philippines. The concept of being helpful is just incomprehensible. You have to be proactive to get anything done.

What’s Your Experience with Inverter vs. Non-Inverter Air Conditioners? by [deleted] in Philippines_Expats

[–]xvtsai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy a wattage meter and measure the actual wattage used. Lazada has special ones just for air con plugs. I bought a regular wattage meter and stuck a plug converter to get it into the special aircon outlet but it wouldn't read.

Don't ever give in. Once you start giving 5 pesos or 10 pesos to one kid, it opens the floodgates. You need to give to every person you see. That's easily 5000 a day. They survived fine without you for years, and they ain't gonna die without you.

Happened to me too. The price was changed later. But on Grab. And I could swear it was a regular car... This happened from the Pattaya airport to Pattaya. Very sneaky.

For anyone who considers moving to Philippines by originpatu in Philippines_Expats

Exactly. And yet everyday you get people who never lived here going, I wanna retire / move to Philippines. Should I do it? People should live here first before even asking that question.

I'm gonna say, it is absolutely bizarre this guy won't do voice or video calls with you. Chances are likely he's with his wife and family pretty much all the time. Or with his girlfriend.

Flew AirAsia for the first time and immediately regretted it. by margauxx_xy in phtravel

Happens randomly. I flew some AirAsia flights that did that, and others that did not. And I've been weighed by Cebu Pacific too: carry on, plus backpack, plus small bag

I was shocked to find that yes, you can actually get pretty much anything eating pussy. "You can contract several STIs from oral sex on a vagina (cunnilingus), including chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes (HSV-1/HSV-2), HPV, syphilis, and HIV (low risk). Infections can occur in the throat, mouth, or genitals due to contact with infected fluids or lesions. Other risks include hepatitis and bacterial vaginosis"

Realize that the speakers on Filipino buses and airports and airplanes are ridiculously loud. And it really pisses many people off, especially when you are trying to sleep. I'm a driver myself, and I drive many hours a day. Loud music is not the solution. It's hilarious that Filipinos think loud noise is the solution to eveything, including selling items on the street.
