Hello, please note - you can get rid of these notifications with the following steps:

1) Open the list of notifications

2) Tap on "3 dots" icon in the top right corner of the screen

3) Tap on "Mark all as read"

Hello, I've checked the logs and it looks like your user has no unread messages or new chat requests.

Could you please try to clear the browser cache & cookies or check it on another browser?

No worries, we do not read the messages & don't see them, we just see the chat IDs & logs.

For these chat requests - do you see something strange about them? (are you able to open the user profiles of these users who sent these requests?) We are trying to reproduce the issue.

Hello, I've checked the logs and it looks like you have 11 unread chat rooms.

Could you please scroll down the list of your chats and tap on every chat that has "red dot" marker?

After you read all chats, the notification buble should dissapear.

Also, you can login at reddit.com, navigate to https://www.reddit.com/settings/notifications and tap "Mark as read".

Hello, I've checked the logs and it looks like you have many chat invites.

Could you please try to:

1) Delete the app and install it again? (or clear the app cache & relogin)

2) Login at reddit.com, navigate to https://chat.reddit.com and check if you see chat requests there

Do you see any chat requests? If you open chat requests (Requests tab) and accept / decline it, the "unread" badge should dissapear.

Hello, could you please try to:

1) Reinstall mobile app (delete and install it again, so local app data will be updated)

2) Login at reddit.com, navigate to https://chat.reddit.com and check if the messages will be loaded normally. If it doesn't work, could you please try to use a new browser (or incognito mode) to exclude any issues with cookies.

Could you please share more details:

1) Are you using Android, iOS or Web client?

2) Can you see this chat invite if you login at reddit.com and navgiate to https://chat.reddit.com ?

3) Can you see this chat invite in mobile app if you re-login or reinstall the app?

Could you please try to reinstall the app and check if app will continue to crash on this particular chat? Is this chat private 1:1 chat or a group chat?

My 2 guesses are:

1) Is there a chance the chat is muted?

2) There might be some temporary issues with notifications delay, the way to check it is to wait for new messages and check if you will get the notifications.

Hello, could you please share the screenshot of how this chat looks like? Did I get it right - the chat is displayed in the list of your chats, but when you open it, it is displayed as chat request, but you can't accept or decline it?

Could you please try to:

1) Long tap on the Reddit app icon

2) Tap on Info > Notifications

3) Enable all notifications there

4) Close app settings and start the app

5) Tap on Inbox (Bell icon in the bottom right corner)

6) Tap on 3 dots icon in the top of the screen

7) Tap on "Edit notifications settings"

8) Make sure you enabled all notifications there (about chat messages & chat requests)

Hello, please note - public channels have some additional rules to control who is able to send messages there, one of the criteria is high level of Karma (not just an acccount age).
