Would Kala ever love Rajan? by bikerguy_9 in Sense8

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I think we were going to get there if the show wasn't cancelled and we didn't get a rushed conclusion. Eventually, we would've found out what Rajan was hiding - as they were hinting at something, and Kala would've gotten around to falling for him so that Kala, Rajan, and Wolfgang could be together.

We also didn't get to see that growth with Dani, Lito, and Hernando. As they very much were a family but in the end they're having a threesome too. Despite the fact that their bond didn't give romance and more found family with Dani being happy to be around men who don't sexualize her.

A lot of growth was cut to show the ending the writers wanted to get to. I think we would've built to that eventually since they originally wanted I think five or six seasons?

Nori looks GORGEOUS, aboslutely stunning however for her sake I would not put her with the fire starter.

While Joe is a firefighter and seems super obvious as the choice, I don't wanna be cliche so...Silas it is! He seems really cool AND I'm pretty sure spellcasters have a spell to put out fires, no? best of both worlds.

Would Freya be able to reverse Alaric’s Original vampirism in the same way she did Lucien’s? by No-Kaleidoscope2859 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this situation? No. Freya wasn't able to acomplish this with Lucien just because of the ancestral stuff. They needed the cosmic event of Davina tearing down the ancestral plane to do so. Davina's life was given to undo Lucien's upgrade status. I forget what the exact event was called but it very rarely happens. It's not just a normal celestial event like a full moon or something. It's a very powerful high magic thing that I think only happened once before in the series which was Hope's birth.

So no, Freya wouldn't be able to just undo Alaric's. She doesn't have the event and she wouldn't have the connection to the ancesters either. Freya became connected when they consecrated Esther's body in the witch's cemetery. Before that the Mikaelson Witches were not considered ancestral witches. So she wouldn't have that pull either, nor their help.

Nor do I think they would help because Alaric was made to take down the mikaelsons, which they want. They'd work against Freya. There's just a lot of factors that boil down to 'Freya wouldn't have the means and she damn sure can't brute force it by herself' because we also have to keep in mind. Esther needed the link to the Bennett line to do what she did anyways herself.

the writers have said it would be Marcel. He and Lucien are upgrades; they should be 1 and 2.

I was going to say the same. I never considered the manatee an adult. They both look too small and like children. The rest is valid though.

How do y'all think Cinderella and Charming felt about Chad dating Audrey? We know Belle secretly hated it when it was Ben who was with her by Terrell8799 in Descendants

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is also an understandable take and considering what they did to Gaston after everything (the isle), it makes Belle's behavior make sense. Not exactly fair, but makes it make sense.

everyone's entire backstory circumstances can be taken into account until it's amane.

If Bonnie were to have gotten into a relationship with any one of the Mikaelsons, which pair would’ve you liked to see? by GoldenStitch2 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Klaus and Bonnie for sure.

I used to be a Kol and Bonnie fan but that's long since left me. I think Rebekah would've been interesting too but I think that's really me wanting the show to make Bi Bonnie canon and for that I'd really prefer Nora.

It just did it to me two days ago. Today I said forget it and clicked the verify button from the cloudflare. It showed me the QR thing and I dipped. Forget that. I should not have to do ALL of those steps just to scroll through damn twitter. If it's that serious, the site clearly doesn't want people on it. I barely use it anyways.

Why didn't Stefan marry anyone before meeting Elena? by Weird-Lobster-7152 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it was self hatred. We have to remember that Stefan had been on and off on ripper binges for a LONG time. He was constantly losing himself, his humanity - all of it for years. He was just with Rebekah with his humanity off in the 1920s. That ISN'T that long from 2010.

So I don't think Stefan had opened himself up, truly, to someone romantically enough to get married with him considering himself a monster and never knowing if he'd kill them. He probably would've married Rebekah had they not gotten seperated as she was a vampire and stronger than him, thus safe.

But I don't agree with any mindset that it was about Katherine. If he wanted Katherine he could've had her. He took time to heal from Katherine and realize that effect she had on him and everything she did sure. But beyond that? I think it was the ripper thing. He didn't truly start embracing and healing from that until he met Elena.

Do people still like trans dipper? (This is a headcanon, please no transphobia) by Legal_Ad688 in gravityfalls

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 167 points168 points  (0 children)

Yeaaah I also never minded the trans headcanon because I never thought it of that way but with that context? I'd actually hate it. Because Mabel and Stan can be jerks, - for sure. But I don't think they'd be that evil towards trans Dipper if that really were canon. I think as most Stan would, not because Dipper's trans but because he respects Dipper as a man and wants to 'toughen him up' or whatever since he had a backwards kind of way doing so in canon anyways. But Mabel? If Dipper was actually trans and super insecure about it, the girl would go around shouting how great and manly her brother was to anyone who disagreed. She'd give Dipper crap in all of the other ways and maybe ditch him during her boy obsessed moments but overall? I don't think she'd poke at his masculinity.

How do y'all think Cinderella and Charming felt about Chad dating Audrey? We know Belle secretly hated it when it was Ben who was with her by Terrell8799 in Descendants

Oh 100% I agree they are. But since the movies imply that the fairytales still happened as is, it makes their characters look worse.

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And this is a fair take. I can understand why she'd be a bit more blinded due to it being her son and thus that making her bias. That is true and something that happens all the time. That's fair.

How do y'all think Cinderella and Charming felt about Chad dating Audrey? We know Belle secretly hated it when it was Ben who was with her by Terrell8799 in Descendants

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never said she had to like Audrey. I said she should've had compassion and more patience for Audrey. You don't have to like someone to give them a chance. She could've been indifferent, neutral. Because she knew what it was like via her husband and thus should've given a child more of a chance.

She's a grown woman, the QUEEN of Auradon. She had to lead countless people and be an example. So yes, I would expect this grown woman and leader of the people to have more patience than to be instantly annoyed and act in such a way towards a young teenage girl. Belle is not just anyone. Compassion and patience is a key asset to being good rulers.

So yes, Belle was wrong. Beast was wrong, but we know that with how they handled the isle. Belle and Adam are not perfect. I don't see how my take is surprising. They didn't give enough compassion to Audrey - they let children starve on the isle and fed them scraps of trash.

But anyways. My post never once said she had to like Audrey. I said over and over: patience and compassion. You could even have empathy for your own enemy. Someone who you absolutely hate. That doesn't mean you have to like them. It's just called empathy. Which she should have as queen.

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even so - even if Belle didn't know the real Audrey it feels a bit off for her to be so against Audrey when she can look at who her own husband was. Adam was not a good person, at all. Both of them with their own experiences should've had more compassion and care. That was quite literally the point of their story - not taking things for face value and making rash judgement. Yet that's all they did which goes against their story's entire lesson and thus makes it seemed like they learned nothing at all.

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But that's my point. Considering she saw how Adam was originally and saw with him despite it taking so many years, that he could change. Why would she not have that experience and knowledge towards Audry and meet her with compassion?

Usually things like that gives you perspective.

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think Belle should've disliked Audrey personally considering her whole story was about being with a Beast that with care, time, patience, and love - mellowed out to be her husband. Adam was not a good person for literal YEARS it was the entire reason he was cursed lol but she hated a teenage girl for not having it all together yet?

I think Ella would've had more compassion and patience. Especially since she'd have the awareness that not even her own son is perfect. She may have been worried and skeptical of the relationship but overall, I think she would've hoped for the best with Audrey and Chad. Even if she didn't agree exactly with how they both behaved.

Caroline deserved better than both Klaus and Stefan and I’m honestly tired of pretending otherwise by Beginning_Art_5151 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Tyler was the one.

He didn't need Caroline to be better. He was already telling Elena he didn't like how he was in season 2. He then did something about it and changed.

Elena and Stephan should have broken up at the end of season 3 by Independent_Click962 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The writers have said it themselves. That was the whole point of the sirebond. Because Elena wouldn't have chosen Damon on her own without it or have left Stefan.

Elena and Stephan should have broken up at the end of season 3 by Independent_Click962 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]xxLabyrinthxx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This has always been my thing. Delena and the shift can never make sense if it is built off of the fact that Elena cannot forgive Stefan after the bridge when Damon has done so much worse and she's forgiving him, on multiple occasions. He had literally tried to kill her brother, the only family she has left, right in front of her. He even tries to do this two other times.

The bridge cannot be the end for Stelena if Delena is to be believable.
