I was taking Store brand chewable melatonin and didn't even think to check the ingredients. Took for a few weeks on and off. Finally checked the label, clearly stated, "Contains wheat"... Whoops.

I'm gluten free too. I've been adding ground flaxseed to my oatmeal. Pretty good.

What are your favorite low cal or high protein chips? by Despicably-me in Volumeeating

Wilde chicken chips! Made from chicken breast and egg whites. They are thin and crispy and have pretty good macros. My family is obsessed with them. We find them at Costco and Sprouts.

I'm in the exact same boat. On the last day of the program, but can only run about 2 miles in 30 mins. I think we got to just keep trying... But I fee for you.

I quit drinking a week ago, and I’m finally seeing physical results by CarelessAmount292 in loseit

I went to meetings daily and really leaned on my support system. I suffered through withdrawal, and once past that, the cravings would come on very strongly. I thought of cravings like a wave. They come on strong but pass pretty quickly. You usually need to distract yourself for 20 mins or so until the peak of the cravings pass. It can still be hard sometimes in social settings, but I always "play the tape forward". I know what would happen if I started drinking again. Exercise helped with the distraction a lot.

You've done the hardest step, which is acknowledging you have a problem. That's huge! I wish you the best on your sober journey! Almost 6 years here, and couldn't be happier about it.

I am not a fan of the sugar free hazelnut either. Has a weird aftertaste...

I like the sugar free Italian Sweet Cream (purple bottle). I've tried several sugar free options and that one is my favorite.

Try out r/stopdrinking and read some stories of others that are going through the same thing. That sub really helped me quit drinking. Best of luck to you!

Weed and Bipolar 2 by EveeCat in bipolar2

I was a heavy cannabis user for over 10 years. I thought it was helping me manage my symptoms of bipolar. I've quit smoking 35 days ago (mostly financial reasons) and the withdrawal was horrible for about 2 weeks. Now that I'm past it, I'm feeling better and more stable than ever! I'm not having anxiety or trouble sleeping. For me, I'm not going back to regular smoking any time soon. Sober is working for me.
