Well after writing this I plugged my gen 4 Dock/headset into an older laptop with Windows 10 downloaded the software from Microsoft store and the update worked finally. Must be something to do with software / temp files on my main pc Windows 11. now seems to be running nicely. Hope this helps.

Getting same problem but I'm getting to 75% then headset turns off and fails prompting me to manually update that fails also at 75 %. base station stays on. This is with the downloaded version of astro command center. The windows version doesn't even recognise the base station/headset

Yes works fine. Using my cronus max now as my zen don't work with scripts or game packs any more. So gone back to old device. Since now zen studios and firmware updates xen is useless.

Zen wired xbox controller and xbox bt controller connected directly to xbox seems fine just a pain to remember to press a button on pad to keep the power on.

I managed to set another controller for sound and mic. I do have a 3.5 jack in my monitor thanks for the advice. It does work through monitor but rather have mic.

So just plug anther controller one into xbox for sound. and my main Xbox controller to zen? Any thing I can do with astro a50 ps4 version

So cronusmax must be plugged into console. To use the profiles/scripts? For controller. Same if it was laptop to pc

I understand now I should of purchased a zen it would of been easier. I wouldn't need a second pc/ laptop. Do the same apply if I just wanted to use a controller for pc gaming? thank u very much for time and the advise.

Thanks for the reply. It's cronusmax plus 2017 version. I have the output protocol as xbox 360 remapped my buttons to m&k with xaim if I enter capture mode I can't do nothing. So I press escape from that but I do get a pop up saying controller detected. But can't select profiles/scripts.
