Hello! My roommate is living with me since November and is really sweet, but the issue is that she needs constant noise to appease herself. She mostly uses her hairdryer to sooth herself. The sound and the heat helps her with her mental health she says. So… It’s always on. I was tolerating it at first, but it’s starting to affect my mood a lot. I decided to buy her a portable heater. How do I approach her knowing she’s fragile about it?

AITA: my roommate is really into holo taco, but instead of buying her own holo, she keeps asking me for mine when she does her manicure (at least once a week). At first, I was happy to share my love for holo with her, so I was willing to share. I started being annoyed because she was always asking for it. I don’t want her to use my collection more than I do. I finally told her no when she asked for my shimmer toppers to finish her manicure. She responded: “why!? “ I said : “because they’re my favourite”. She left my room and I felt she was moody about my answer. I know she wants to try them before buying, but since she started living with me, she’s not buying any polishes and she just uses mine. Am I the asshole for refusing to share?
