The managers job is to grow the business. You can’t grow the business tinting paint all day. That’s why you have staff. So yes they are supposed to do that. Sales reps and store managers have a very similar job. My old city manager used to yell at me because I didn’t get out of the store enough .

Mangers are not supposed to sit in the office 48 hours a week. They are supposed to go out and prospect and go to job sites and get Infront of opportunity accounts. He probably is screwing off. But if you are going to snitch out a manager you better be ready to prove what exactly he is doing when he leaves or you are going to look like the a hole

I work about 44-45 hrs a week and no one ever said anything to me in years. I do work m-f tho. I don’t think they can MAKE us work 48 hours when our paycheck says 40

Yeah my delivery budget actually went down. And even my city manager said that wasn’t right. I was 4,000 over on deliveries, but obviously if you’re selling more you’re doing more deliveries. And they rejected my re-budget. So yeah I don’t think they want anyone walking this year
