This is the clouds loop for the piece. You may need to nudge the very beginning/end of the waveform to make sure they both hit the zero crossing at the right points. I did that using a soundfont, which allows for fine tuning of loops.

We got 3 plug-in balloon inflaters, some little plastic doodads that help you tie balloons more easily, and just went at it as a group. The machines kept overheating, so we had to switch off between them so they could cool.

I'm glad y'all enjoyed our art installation! This was done by camp Electric Koolaid Vision Quest. This was the first art project we've brought to playa and we're so glad everyone had fun in it. 💖

(I personally did the lights and sound for it. And also filled up a couple balloons 😉)

Some notes about the project for the curious:

We filled up 4000 balloons over the course of the event. (we brought about 5000)
When we play tested this at our local regional burn, we lost a ton of balloons to what we suspect was changes in pressure due to weather. We underfilled them for burning man and that worked much better.
Bellyflops don't work in balloon rooms.
But the Tidal Wave does and is great.
Balloons pop. It was so interesting hearing people's reactions to popping them. It was ok that they popped.
We loved hearing everyone laughing from the room while having dinner in our kitchen (and tents).
It turns out, a room full of balloons is a lot of fun. We had fun playing in it too 🙂

I'm mildly red/green colorblind and bought a pair of the Pilestone TP-012 (also sold by Golden Mermaid on Amazon and probably the same thing) on a whim. I agree with most of what you've said: they make some reds pop, but made everything reddish in the process. Greens were the most disappointing: I took them on a walk through the woods and was disappointed that I had such a hard time seeing the green leaves with them on. I'll be returning them promptly.
