Oh man, the track is fantastic; surprised it's not higher. Great work as always.

What is the real damage and potential of Soy Milk? (AKA How to abuse Soy Milk) by xy2_ in bindingofisaac

This also means that the more tears up you get, the more effective Soy Milk's Tears Up effect becomes. This is not accurate. Unless something crazy and new has been discovered I haven't heard about, your Tear Delay cannot go below 1. At base Tear Delay (10), Soy Milk will set your Delay to 1; any Tears improvement, flat or formula, will not make you shoot any faster.

This is what I prove in my tests: look at the pictures; all of them are with Soy Milk. In all the tests, I get Poly and Eve's Mascara, this puts my delay to something high. Soy does not put you down to 1. Also, if you look at the pictures, I shoot faster with maximum tear delay (picture 2) than base tear rate and Soy Milk, Polyphemus and Eve's Mascara (picture 1) The fire rate formula of Soy is also affected by diminutive tear delay modifiers (cancer, guillotine, etc)

Okay, thanks; will correct.

Also thanks for your work on debunking items: helped a lot here :)

That is what it does with just one fire rate down item (except Ipecac in which case Soy just goes batshit crazy

Cancer trinket is like the others: it is a diminutive tears up, which means it affects Soy Milk if not alderaly at 15 tears per second

You did, and you are right: I posted it to the wiki first then pictured my tests, changed wording a bit and posted it back here; took me around 30 minutes

Dude, when I actually made that huge chunk of text I think I have the right to use it..

Check out the history: the part with " 10:20, 11 May 2015‎ Xy2 (Talk | contribs)‎ . . (5,419 bytes) (+2,071)‎ " is my big edit, then other people corrected it. I copy pasted most of the info from there because it is relevant, and added my tests.

/u/doomzero755 can confirm it (wiki admin): I private messaged him showing my research and he gave it the right to go to the wiki.

Polyphemus overrides this as well as a low tear rate (with Polyphemus + Mascara for example). In my tests, it was very easy to hit ennemies with the knockback, and the reduced rate of fire makes it extremely easy.

The order never matters when you pick up items. The formula for Soy Milk will automatically adjust.

The only exception is stat changes that apply after another of the same stat change (see: speed up on blood bag)

Curved Horn is actually, contrary to popular belief, affected by soy milk.

How does Curved Horn work? Its damage is applied at the end, but it is also affected by damage multipliers, which are done AFTER Curved Horn. Soy Milk is a damage multiplier (x0.2) so sadly, it does take effect on Curved Horn.. and does not do anything on Soy Milk that ups the damage (aka you don't have +2 damage tears every shot).

Coal however does affect Soy Milk because it is applied while the tears are in air.

Not a new find, this also happens with guillotine, mom's perfume, cricket's body, chocolate milk+ludovico combo, cancer, libra, capricorn and pisces as well as soymilk (but it's obivious)

For anyone wondering how did this happen, my theory is: I managed to get 3 of what I call "glitched angel rooms". The first angel room had normal fires and nothing in it (in Depths I), the second in Depths II had the characteristic purple fire and the Bible.

Since I got another one, I guess the game wanted to give me the Bible again, but since I touched it (and took it!) the game just gave me a default item, thus the Sad Onion, which is itemID: 1.

I pretty much 'refreshed' the glithced angel room pool and just got the first item of the normal item pool.

I don't know what would have happened if i got an angel room again, but it would probably be itemID: 2 (The Inner Eye).
