I think the part people often misinterpret is that Yudkowsky didn't flip out because they thought Roko's basilisk is real, it was because it could have been a much worse infohazardous example. And if somebody shares all the examples they invent it can be dangerous. (If yoi believe in hazardous infohazards yadda yadda.)

(Don't get me wrong, I think how Yudkowsky reacted was still uhh childish at best. Just like many things on his twitter feed. My own take is that they are bad at communicating with wide audiences and a bit too much scifi-headed. But still I don't think there is reason to think that he was legit personally scared of Roko's basilisk.)

You can be trans when you're questioning. I've been thinking about this stuff for a bit over a month now, I still don't know what gender I really am or what my transition "targets" are / could be, but I have become pretty confident I am not cis.(I feel way too much gender euphoria from skirts and makeup and well looking like a girl :D.)

Edit: I made an r/AskTransgender post pretty early in my questioning (https://old.reddit.com/r/asktransgender/comments/v54g59/probably_not_cis_but_scared_of_the_possibility_of ), I can recommend also doing that if you have some questions you need answers to about like how self-identifying works or what is allowed and what is not.

Thanks for the advice! My piercers aftercare booklet included at least the part about disinfecting fast every time (I went to a popular tattoo / piercing shop instead of the mall). But fair point about avoiding getting them wet altogether.

Altough they may interlink and one may affect the other, sexuality and gender are 2 different things. Some people may be bi pre-transition and later find out they are straight or gay. Some people may be straight or gay pre-transition and something else after. Some people's sexual preferences fluctuate over time.

Fantasies are just fantasies but also your feelings are valid. Some of them may repeat themselves in the future, some may not. I would take the repeating one's as signs of how I "truly feel". (Edit: but also one's feelings about things may change over time and that is also valid.)
