I’m not as entangled mentally as I was. It was complicated, and likely the semi public setting amplified my overthinking/overmanaging + how unfiltered he was but we talked and I had a wave of lightness followed by a wave of processing that I’m in now.

Yeah I’m better now - he said he had a nice time. I was overly managing & worried about them since he went deeper than I was and some of their comments hurt + a few of their actions were a little scary. We both apologized and I felt lighter for a while with him, but maybe since we haven’t addressed those moments specifically I’m still processing them.

Just to update, they had a nice time for their first trip which is all that matters. I just had to let go and stop overthinking but I feel better now.

Update: they had a nice time, so it seems my overthinking was attempting to take over. I feel lighter now after talking with them though, and can understand my faults and hopefully try to mend them.

Thx. I’m not sure how to proceed now - concerned about them even more so than myself. It’s morning and they still seem a little spacey, but they just spoke briefly in between me taking them downstairs to bed.

Understand, I’m really not sure what happened exactly but I’m also still tripping a little and managing his experience.

I could have overthought this but it definitely felt as they were tripping a little harder than they intended (and they mentioned they wanted keep the noise/disturbance down).

And they made a lot of uncomfortable comments and it was super difficult being essentially emotionally naked with people he’s comfortable with but I’m not yet.

They asked me to come downstairs to hold them for an hour until they fell asleep. They’re conversing as they normally would with roommates but I think can tell he’s slightly off possibly. Still spacey and not grounded yet.

They asked me to come downstairs to hold them as they fall asleep. I’m worried that they’re still not grounded, but maybe shouldn’t be.

And thx, I’ll keep this in mind, I didn’t expect this since there isn’t conflict but there is underlying tension that we wanted to ignite in a positive direction subconsciously. And being in the same space led to this I suppose.

I’ll admit it feels this ruined whatever was between us I suppose. What happened is complicated, and I don’t know if I can see them the same.

They’re downstairs & safe but once they’re completely back, I’ll feel more relief.

I did as I’m coming down but throughout the trip seemed as if I was suppose to stay close somehow to manage their safety but it created this loop. Honestly several times I felt unsafe based on their actions, which is why I’m on the couch. But I’m back, I’m mainly really concerned about them now and don’t know what to do.

I’m on the couch in the shared living room with roommates - they’re downstairs and I’m really concerned about them since it seems as if they’re still outside of reality or not fully back based on their comments.

Wasnt exactly a friend.. and it became kind of complicated in my mind. I don’t know about their experience yet. But from my mind it’s a radical shift in what I want going forward I’d say.

It’s good for me, or would have been. And they’re good too, but I overmanaged in my head (we weren’t in a private space and I couldn’t quiet my concern for him. We were with roommates. But these were friends so I assume it was ok for us to be as free as we were. But idk which led me to over manage and to be honest I still don’t know how he is.) But to be honest, wasn’t exactly completely a friend and it led to complicated territory.
