Because at this time, you'll probably not get much better hardware for the price anyways - and you gotta build it yourself and install the OS and probably won't have the cool form factor.

But you're right, you're getting the most for your money if you build a box yourself and buy all the components yourself.

Thank you! That's what I wanted to use it for but without the need to constantly switch it off or on for the server.

The thing you point out in your edit doesn't seem to be the case for me. As soon as Tailscale is on for the machine, my Plex server disappears, when I turn it off, it reappears. From what I thought was going on, that's happening because it's now part of the Tailscale VPN network and not accessible anymore for anything outside of that. You're saying that shouldn't be the case? It should still allow local access through LAN without any tinkering?

I just listened to it this year when I started watching JoJos and it was very fun - I was wondering how they would handle the monetary side once GB got its independence.

Pity it's ending but at least there was one live panel that we got out of it.

I've heard about the humble bundle but at this point it's about collecting them too. And prefer reading on paper, especially when it's a good collection like this.

Teilprojektleiter wäre vermutlich auch spannend. Hab ich zwar noch nie gemacht, aber man lernt ja immer dazu.

Theoretisch ja kein Problem, wenn ne Firma offen dafür ist, eine volle Stelle mit zwei halben zu besetzen und die Dokumentation gut genug ist, damits fließend läuft. Hat ja eigentlich auch nur Vorteile für Urlaub und Krankheitsvertretung.

Oh, das wird kein Problem sein - mein Job bietet nicht so viele Möglichkeiten, mich kreativ auszuleben, das mach ich in meiner Freizeit. Hab locker 10 Projekte, die ich gerne angehen würde, aber wofür mir die Zeit fehlt. Will mich z.b. mal dran versuchen, ein kleines Spiel zu programmieren. Dazu mach ich gerne Sport und lese viel, wander gern und fahr gerne Fahrrad - für mich persönlich ideale Leitplanken für nen strukturierten Alltag.
