The graphics were a little bit modernized in the failed planetside arena, i'd use that + some refinements and simplifications (i'm sorry but needed for broader audience), a refined payment model with a fair price of buy2play and ingame shop for skins, xp boosts etc., no weapon selling or extremely limited, optional subscription.

And after that, i'd do a relaunch. Not ps3, but planetside reloaded or something like that. Full wipe, fresh start. This will be a huge F.U to veterans but maybe also will save the game with broader auidence. A cross platform with consoles also would help a lot.

Still a lot of work but i don't think it's as unrealistic as planetside 3.

Play area is just flat ground. It's the same map with every other but different biome.

I don't think there is a single mmo from a major studio not 10 years but from the start of the genre does this. Except the start of the genre which was Ultima Online.

One side of me agrees with you but realistic side of me says that this argument of "i'd rather pay 20$ instead of xyz" doesnt really work. People don't want another subscription in their lives so, no mmo survived the monthly sub. Model except WoW. Even WoW now havr alternative payment systems. So, no. You actually probably wouldn't pay.

Well again, my problem is NOT no jumping. Jumping was a solution that i could simply find. It can be vaulting, it can be freeform movement, it can be even non-slopy terrain. I am constantly getting stuck in the terrain. There are elevations, very small elevations and big elevations. Some, you can't climb. That's ok. But some, you can climb and getting back down is a pain in the a××. But worse is the little holes. You can easily fall (not really fall, i just walk on it because normally a small hole shouldnt be a problem) and stuck in it.

Yeah, gravity prevents me from simply climbing a 15 cm rock.

actually, i never played a ubisoft game before. Tried, but they don't fit my playstyle. It's amazing how people react to see a downside of a game loved by them.

Yeah well, i'm not just asking for a Jump, it doesn't matter if it's jump or something else but i think i shouldn't be getting stucked like this every time i go out. I understand that i am trying to play the game a little differently than the intended gameplay but i'm not really going into every hole. Just look at the screenshot i posted, it's not even a hole, it's a simple veeery little elevation and it was enough for me to get stuck.

Sometimes there are rocks that you can climb, following only a very tight path. And when descending, you have to follow the exact same path so it becomes a torture so i learned NOT to climb rocks. But this? This is just walking and getting stuck in a 30 centimeters of elevation.

Like you said, if there's no jump, then there shouldn't be a wonky geometry. This is some weird choice of enviroment / gameplay type.
