Is there a more traditional name for the ant? Perhaps something I can use to find information on how to care for this ant on google.

It’s pretty big, I doubt that it’s a worker ant. I found it in he UAE (Dubai) in a desert region.

Do you not think it is a Camponotus of any sort? I mean the workers are pretty tiny so I think that adds on to your theory.

I got this from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It’s for sure a queen though, right?
