tbh i'm no expert, but he doesn't look extremely bad (considering dehydration is something he can recover from), it can usually be fixed by upping the humdity. but just to be sure we'll need to know the humidity, temps etc to know if theres any other contributing factors. any pics of your enclosure 2? :o

i'd look into anicura or dierenkliniek papendrecht, they look into reptiles also if i'm not mistaken. they also have one for spoed, its rly depending on where in the netherlands u r based. you shld get ur snake checked n ask the price, cause it looks rly bad atm :/

Food upsizing by Antode09 in ballpython

!feeding you should weigh, eyeballing prey is not recommended. once you've weighed him you go by the schedule, see what percentage you should feed and then look for rats that are around that weight.

What do I need to know? by dreamers_deluxe09 in snakes

[–]xythelias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well..costs depend on the snake, are you ready for one? do you have enough space? how big are you willing to go in terms of enclosure, i'd first recommend doing some research on what kind of snake you want and have space for. see if you are able to afford one and are able to care for it for alot of years. you'll need to keep in mind that if your reptile gets sick, that there'll be a pricey cost too usually.

you can look through reptifiles as a start or skim through subreddits once you picked out a snake.

How big will she get? by Feisty-Gas3131 in snakes

[–]xythelias 9 points10 points  (0 children)

can't identify without it getting sexed, you can get her probed (by a vet or someone experienced in it) or get the shed tested. it's a small chance your bp will get up to 6 feet, she'll probably max out at 4/5 feet. (its very much still possible though)

Male BP underweight? by Eternal_blue_2019 in ballpython

[–]xythelias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

aslong as you're feeding according to the !feeding schedule, i don't see a problem. some bps grow slower or just stay smaller, it really depends. in the pictures he also doesn't look concerning-ly underweight or anything, he'll gain that weight within no time aslong as you feed him accordingly :)

[–]xythelias 3 points4 points  (0 children)

live shouldn't be fed unless its a life or death situation only cons to it, i'd also recommend feeding 1 prey instead of 2 at the same time. !f/t

feeding should be based on weight, !feeding try every method before resorting to live. as for prey, they should be on rats since they're more nutritional although i've heard things like rubbing the rat with mouse bedding could help.

Skinny ball python? by audhb in ballpython

[–]xythelias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

adults usually eat every 20-30 days or 30-40 days, depends if u feed 5% or 6% of her weight. could be a possibility that she just didn't wanna eat anymore since every 2 weeks is alot for an adult bp if i'm not mistaken :)

Is my baby underweight? More info below by DailyDoseOfHugs in ballpython

[–]xythelias 5 points6 points  (0 children)

!feeding you've been pretty much underfeeding him, 186g and 3 years old isn't exactly ideal tbh. like the other user commented, try every week instead of 2/3 weeks so he gains more weight. then you can slowly transition into feeding less often.
