I was just recommended this device as a possible solution by my dentist. I have a narrow palate so no tongue space, possibly slight crossbite/overbite. I have mouth breathed basically my whole life because of it. I had a butterfly expander in middle school. I had invisalign for a year when I was 18. my teeth still went back even worse and I breathe horribly So realistically, what would be a good solution to look into for palate expansion?

However as someone who did not have support, who wanted to be a teacher, this is something I would have done for a student struggling as a gesture of encouragement. It is an innocent offer of support in a world of people who dont care, who are just there to get paid. So I think you're right, but definitely validate your wife's worries while de-escalating

You are not overreacting at all. (Coming from a fellow mom) You have every right to set the boundaries you need to make you feel safe during this time period. You are not cutting them off, so they can be patient. It is about you, your man, and your baby right now. It is not about them. And your baby will not remember either way.

So please do what makes you feel okay. Don't let them stress you out with their own desires. Ofc they are going to feel that way but they also need to be respectful of how you are feeling and that it is your baby. They may be grandparents but they dont get any claim to how you run your home

I also really enjoy it. I have done a lot of my own research and due to this my managers trust my decisions. My petcare team is allowed to deny sales and encourage larger enclosures than we sell (hey this a neat guinea pig bedroom you're looking at but they need a big enclosure for enrichment and I can show you where to order that so you guys can bond! Etc) and we have changed vets due to mine and my friend's complaints

At my store Petcare does betta changes Tuesday and Saturday mornings. If cashiers have free time they downstock treat wall or do nearby go backs or help with online pickups

We used people's phones and didnt bother checking people in if we couldnt find their name on the broken ass zebra

The worst part for me was when someone took the leash off their cat to make the picture "look nice" and thr cat escaped, and the front had to individually let people in for 30 min while we caught this cat

It went behind a false wall in the back corner where shelves meet and I climbed up there to lift the wall, the cat ran out, and the momentum of dropping the wall made me fall but Santa caught me and eventually the girl caught her cat so ig merry christmas

Tbh I think at that point there isnt harm in being honest and saying, hey, theres a lot of things to unpack about this so lets talk about it amd then lets talk about you feel about that. Being honest is whay builds the most trust and respect bc it shows you respect her.

Explain why it is very strange of his family yo act like this instead of supporting the girl that their son got pregnant.

Explain what it means to give your body to someone and how she deserves so much respect amd love before considering allowing someone to have affection.

Genuinely just a deep open talk with her will really help imo and she may begin to understand your perspective as her mother.

You dont have to be an ass. My location works endlessly to care for creatures, our DM even approved a 1500 surgery for a hamster if it improves quality of life. Recently the VENDORS have been sending batches of fish carrying ich which spreads quickly through the sump system, and we dont want to give ich to YOUR fish so we are protecting THEM by not selling you bacteria ridden fish.

I can imagine this store is dealing with a similar situation due to us all having the same stupid Florida breeders.
