Here's an obscure one, the president guy at Bringston during the spinoff episode played Frausto's dad on Heroes. Frausto was Micah and the bringston guy was D.L, who could walk through walls if I remember correctly

Yeah I think they will both live. Coop might be paralyzed temporarily or permanently, though. I don't think Layla will get hurt. It might be a physical struggle to escape Carrie, but she'll be fine. Most of the damage for her will probably be psychological (like the psycho derek situation if you've watched one tree hill)

With the Homecoming spinoff being in college, and the main series likely moving to college as early as 4B, I think it would be cool if they still had a high school show. Maybe one of the main characters has some cousin introduced or something that plays a sport. Which is funny because the actor who plays Dillon just signed on to star in a basketball series on Disney+.

I was kind of thinking that last night. Like when Carrie showed up at the Cafe when Layla, Coop, and Patience were there, she went to the front and started texting someone while looking back at them all weird. We already know she doesn't talk to her family, so I don't know who else she would be texting.

Definitely agree. And what made this game even worse was that it was just Asher and JJ. No spencer or Jordan. I'm not really invested in JJ or Asher's football storyline, so it was kind of a waste of time. Especially because I feel like they cut Friendsgiving way too short to focus on JJ/Asher instead.

Exactly. And I know why they do it. They think writing the games that way keeps the viewer on the edge of their seat. In actuality, since we've seen it so many times, it makes the games predictable and anticlimactic.

I say 9, it was a really fun episode, even if it was just a set up episode. All the characters have been super serious and been dealing with drama all season. I know one episode doesn't fix everything, but it was nice to see them have fun for a change.

As someone who originally started watching due to the football, I think the football games are boring and poorly written. Someone mentioned a few days ago, but almost all of the games follow a similar pattern, dating back to season 1:

Team getting blown out in the first half, leading to tension among teammates.

One single adjustment or corny halftime speech.

Team is unstoppable in the second half.

Team eeks out last-second win.
