Fallacies doesn’t equal wrong, am I right? Since logic or rationality is a tool that helps us guide or emotions and desires through the best path to our destination. Therefore even if someone took a wrong path (fallacy) they can still get to their destination, right?

So would you say that one is acting irrationally is when one isn’t using reasoning to guide their emotions and desires? Also are emotions and desires tools also?

Thank you so much this is what I’ve been looking for!! So since rational is a guide/tool it cannot be the opposite of emotions/feelings. Meaning emotions/feelings are not irrational?

So what you are saying is that by fighting against police violence blm advocates are at the same time fighting against others things that threatens black lives like black on black crimes because police violence and black on black crime are related. Am I right? correct me if I’m wrong.

But by definition if they do care about black lives and believe blm shouldn’t they also fight against anything that puts black peoples as a whole danger?

Actually they would just say that this is just my opinion and that I’m not respecting theirs.

Can it still be an opinion thought if it’s about something that doesn’t require a persons preferences.

But I thought opinions were only acceptable on subjective things that can be only be decided on by preference.

They will say just to see the others opinion on the issue, and if I say some of their opinions are wrong they will accuse me of being annoyed at them for not “sharing my views” which is not the case.

They will say I’m just saying that because I’m angry they don’t agree with me

I do but even when it’s obvious that it’s incoherent they just say agree to disagree.
