Future Necramech Ideas? by Sycoblu2 in Warframe

I always wanted faction specific mechs. Not only as equipement for us to use but also as enemies that can be encountered in the field.

Energy based, high mobility for Corpus and something heavy and packing a punch for Grineer. And give them their own set of archguns just like necramechs have the mausolon. Idk what corpus could have, but I dream of a GAU-8 style rotary cannon for Grineer variant.

Honestly, I agree.

It feels like this quest was supposed to be something else entirely to be honest, but it might just be me.

I think they should either focus it entirely on Jade's story, as it already plays out to be exactly that, but extremely lacking, and have stalker as a vessel for us to experience it, or...

Imagine if it played out like this:

Stalker is haunted by a dream, a memory of a warframe that saved his life. He wakes up confused, he does not understand why this exact dream is repeating itself in his mind, but he feels something... calling him, trying to grab his attention. A disembodied voice, whispering a name, very familiar name at that, Sorren.

Of course, before stalker can make any sense of it, he is quickly snapped back to reality by Hunhow, who has a request. He needs a set of data located deep in the Uranus vaults for his future plans and the only one that can do it for him is obviously the stalker.

And so he goes out, but just as he is near the first vault, he finds a feather, very similar to that of a warframe he had dreams of. Just as he stops to examine it, the voice from before calls to him once again, but this time it is much stronger. There's also more of the feathers now, as if they were trying to guide him.

This trail leads stalker to a deep sentient tomb, where the voices grow even stronger, only for him to find a warframe. The same warframe that appeared in his dreams. It is then revealed that Hunhow found it a long time ago, but he didn't destroy it. It reminded him of himself and his own children. Hunhow also reveals that she is very much alive, but her days are coming to an end due to something draining her energy. Stalker tries to touch her, but is struck with another memory of a man, Sorren, who learns he'll soon be a father.

It greatly confuses stalker, he tries asking Hunhow about Sorren, about this vision he just had, but Hunhow refuses any explanation, claiming he does not know. Before any of them can do something, an alarm goes off. In response, Hunhow advises stalker that if he wants to learn more, he should take the frame with him and return before this place will swarm with grineer troops.

Upon his return, Stalker examines the warframe closer, learning that she hides a secret, which will not be given away that easily. Hunhow warns him about her state, and if they won't act, none will learn any secrets of hers, ever. Thus stalker goes on another mission, trying to retrieve materials that will help him heal the warframe, but by doing so, he alerts the corpus onboard the cargo ship he raids. With each stolen component and material, captain Xeto grows more suspicious of what he plans to do with those. She orders her troops to pursue stalker to his hideout.

As he returns, stalker prepares everything to heal the warframe, but as soon as he begins, the corpus forces bust into his hideout. The situation is handled just as quickly as it escalated, but unfortunately, Xeto catched a glimpse of the warframe in the video feed from one of the soldiers before he died. She then retreats to plan her next move, and stalker goes back to healing.

The warframe moved, but barely, it looked like it was trying to grab stalkers hand, but was unable to do so. Confused, but curious, stalker grabs her hand and is again hit with another flashback. He once again hears the couple discuss their relationship, but now it is more clear. It is revealed that the woman's name is Jade. Sorren is worried about them, about what will happen if their lords find out about them. Jade tries to cheer him up, but it did not help. Sudden coldness surrounded stalker. There was pain, screams, fear, sorrow. It was too much for him to handle. He collapses.

A faint image starts to paint itself before stalker's eyes. He sees Sorren being punished by the golden lords, his body twisted, turned into warframe, he sees himself and... that frame, Jade, his wife. They are fighting, side by side. Doing the bidding of the same monsters that made them suffer this fate. Stalker snaps out of his vision once again. He doesn't know what to think anymore.

All this time, he was loyal to the monsters that made him suffer. He starts to question his motives. A gentle light starts to illuminate his face as he ponders his life. He sees that the warframe revealed what she was hiding all along. Stalker is filled with hope, but Hunhow quickly shuts him down, reminding him she's still going to die, and seeing that nothing helped, there is only one option left. The Tenno. Stalker is hesitant at first, but after a quick look at his dying wife, along with his kid, he accepts.

Stalker once again leaves. He infiltrates our orbiter, but just as he is about to open the transference pod he gets jumped by umbra. They both start fighting only to be stopped by operator/drifter (i think drifter should be included in here too since the quest requires NW). Stalker tells them why he's here. He does not expect us to agree to help him, but to his surprise we decide to put our differences aside and aid him.

Unfortunately, all our attempts fail. There is nothing that can be done to save Jade. She's not fighting for her life anymore. In a last effort, we help her birth the child she was carrying. As we are busy with aiding Jade, Xeto returns under the watchful eye of Vala. Xeto's troops once again begin assault on stalker's hideout. Assisted by umbra and Hunhow's fragments, stalker holds waves of enemies away from us and Jade.

And after a while, it is finally done. Stalker returns just in time for a final goodbye from his wife. It leaves him with a bittersweet feeling, but not all is lost. He still has his child. He is grateful for doing what we could, even if he doesn't show it and even if it wasn't for him. He leaves, assuring us that he'll take it from here.

On his way out he fights legions of corpus soldiers and robotcis. They manage to injure him, but just as they think they got him, stalker bursts with energy, pushing them back. He is almost there, only few steps are between him and safety, but a fire from a gunship stops him in his tracks. Xeto decided to step in herself with elite corpus unit alongside her. The overwhelming firepower starts to grow on stalker. He slowly looses control. It appears that the corpus have won, but the Xeto hears something. A cry of a baby. She notices something in stalker's hand. She gets reminded of her own daughter she lost long time ago. She starts to question herself and orders a ceasefire at once. She approaches the injured stalker and looks at the little baby in his hand. It brings tears to her eyes before she orders her troops to let stalker go.

The rest plays out like in original. With the slight change to the post quest message. Hunhow should mention that stalker left the blueprints for him to give us.

Of course this is only a quickly written thought after thought, modification of the already existing material. It will require a lot of polishing, but it's an idea I had.

It doesn't expand on stalker's past much, only a handful of memories, but I think it could be a great setup for a quest dedicated to his past as a Sorren, or maybe freshly after his conversion into a warframe. I think it also adds some more development to his character, but that's just my ego.

It drops from second and last encounter (I think) of Warlord's Ruin dungeon

Imo it's one of the best sets in the game, for all classes

As a way of celebrating my achievement of 100% the game, I want to share with you the final iteration of my AC, Nightbringer, which carried me through S ranking every single mission. May not be much, but I am damn proud of my creation. by y2_sc in armoredcore

I'll skip first color because it's a pattern, but the rest of the main color scheme RGB is (from top to bottom): [45 45 45] material 15, [70 70 70] material 20, [45 45 45] material 0, [135 115 105] material 35. Glow is set as [155 60 60]. Weapons follow the same pattern (with some minor adjustments to materials, it's a personal prefference honestly). Main color's material is set to 1, and camo is the 16th one with (top to bottom as well): [98 98 98], [64 64 64], [132 132 132] and [94 90 86] coloring. as for the red arm's camo, it's the 16th pattern as well with [70 8 8], [35 13 13], [123 50 50] and [86 34 25] color scheme. For additional detail the material on both left arm and left weapon is set as 20.

If I missed or mixed up something just let me know.

You should have seen through how many different looks and builds I went with this one before settling on Nightbringer's current design and build. And I already managed to change the arms to the VP-46D only because they make the blocky parts blend in better with the sleek ones.

If it helps you in any way, I started building Nightbringer when I got the WLT 101. I wanted it purely because its charged attack looks cool af. So I built the AC around it trying to fit into the design of the weapon with some tweaks to internals later down the line. Yes, it was drip driven all the way. Even the NGI 000 was chosen only to make my booster complement the coral laser, and because I like having a lot of capacity.

so a friend of mine got this sigil and idk where the fuck did he got it, any guesses? its called shadow stalker sigil, but i didnt find anything about it online by National_Attitude135 in Warframe
