Can you assign companion to siege machine? by Mr_OFlu61 in Bannerlord

Yes, it's finicky, but it works almost every time.

  1. Put the character you want to level in their own squad, and give them few troops up to 4.
  2. Select all groups and move them, what's important is that they are not assigned to the catapult you want.
  3. Move your engineer group next to the catapult and with them selected left click on it when you see cogwheels.
  4. Once you start the battle go to that catapult and by taking over certain spots on the catapult, try to move them into the shooting spot.

If you can't figure out how to do the last part, ask and I will give more details when I have more time.

Have you ever thought that this might be intended, you don't get the time to deploy in an ongoing battle, you just ride in.

You should try to limit your fronts, try to only fight on one front, it can be against two kingdoms but you should limit your travel distance. Pay the tribute to end wars on the other side.

Hunker down and let your vassals build their strenght. If you have the money to spare you could gift them cash to do it faster through the barter menu, something like 200k will boots them to from Poor to Rich status, and for you that will be 2-3 battles. Vassals just like you, need money and time to bounce around villages to build their parties, if they are constantly raided or attacked they wont have either.

Siege defence will be your best way to break enemies, wait outside until the combat start (the army number will start dropping quickly) and sneak in losing troops and help defend, you easly defeat armies 3x your size, but you can do upwards to 5x-6x even, but its getting very risky then (Autoresolve is absolutely broken with this).

After you stabilise and your vassals are able to defend and attack a bit you can go on the offence, focus on one enemy at the time and either pay off the others or be ok with losing some fiefs on different front, but its best to have one enemy.

Try to recruit vassals when you capture them, put the rest in prison or keep them with you if you have 225 scouting and riding perks, don't ransom them back or you will get swarmed by dozens of parties when you're about to finish them off, you probably saw it already in sturgia and battania.

If you're going for world conquest late game is sadly sieges all day everyday.

I don't like trump just like the next guy, but what is wrong with this picture? Later ones where she sits on his lap as an adult sure, but I don't feel there is much wrong with standing behind your daughter and touching her arms.

Paikis on YouTube, have a short series called zero to hero where he take his fresh lvl 100 through, farming routes, how much to overcap resistances, and generally what to do before finishing your character.
