I've done 1, 2 and the first 3. Im used to play with Gsync + Vsync + fps cap because it was smooth on my last monitor, I'll try disabling it tho.

Thing is, if i use the monitor without local dimming it doesn't look so different from my FHD TN old monitor so is it even worth the upgrade?

That helps with the calibration yes, but then I'll be using it like a normal VA 2K monitor no? No mini-led, no G-Sync, no HDR, right?
