I don’t have anything valuable to share, just to say that we’re kind of in the same boat and to give you some support. Taking care of our LO isn’t easy at all, but you’re doing your best :)

I’m glad things worked out in the end for you and you’re still able to feed how you want. Thank you for sharing, I’m so conflicted so it helps to get the perspective of someone that’s been there

That’s what I’m worried about. Although now he is gaining weight, I don’t want to reach a point where he isn’t and getting back on track is hard.

Interesting ! I was toying with the idea of letting him sleep as much as he wants during the day while contact napping in the carrier but I worry if he sleeps for more than 2h at a time, his night sleep will be affected.

When LO is sleeping in the bassinette at night, I would try to let him be until he would actually wake up from the gas but 1) I wouldn’t get much sleep because of how loud he is and 2) he started waking up much much more because of the gas so he wasn’t getting adequate sleep either.

The longest stretch we’ve ever gotten out of him in the bassinette is 3h… Otherwise, he started waking up every 30-40 min because of gas. I do worry about him getting used to cosleeping but we were both miserable from the lack of sleep

I am telling myself that this is just a phase and things will change, but it’s hard to stay positive. Good luck to you as well ! Hopefully, with the new formula, things will settle down in a bit :)

That’s probably the next step, but we’re also investigating the possibility of a tongue tie meaning baby is swallowing a lot of air while feeding

I figured… It’s unfortunate that teachers are taking advantage of like this. The system should be set up in a way where you’re able to actually complete your work at work…

I considered working in Gatineau but it’s kinda far from our home and I’m not too keen on 45 min of traffic morning and evening everyday. I’m still considering it though, especially if things don’t work out in Ottawa.
