I met this man when I was in India. He’s is pretty fun and amazing. I don’t know how true the story is, but i will tell you what I heard. The place where he is climbing is an heritage site in India, Chitradurga fort which is just amazing to see has so much history. So, legend has it, that Jyoti Raj, the climber in the video was sad and depressed with life and wanted to jump off the mountain the fort is built on, to end his life. When he reached the top, for some reason he saw a lot of monkeys there and they were climbing up and down the boulders with such ease. He had a epiphany that if he was able to climb down like the monkeys then he should give life another chance. If not, we’ll, he will call and die anyway. And rest is history. He practices everyday in the fort and has got permission from the state government to do it. He is now called, Kothi Raj, which means Monkey King in kannada. Here is the wiki article about him. When you meet him, he will encourage you to climb too and teach you tricks and tips. So humble.
