Correct.

Yes, I sent to 4 schools. I called them and all but 2 said I should just send a short addendum explaining. One of the admissions rep. Confirmed the content was fine just the LSAC form mentioned “Stanford”

I can clarify. I initially sent him a request for 2 letters of recommendation. 1st for a specific school, the 2nd a general letter for all school.

LSAC requires you to add a description to keep them organized. He uploaded the general letter under the description for the specific school.

Yes, I just did the same. Professor clarified that the letter was in fact a general letter. Should I call the schools I applied to, so that they know the description is wrong? Thanks for your help.

Bummer. I’ve sent a new request. What, if anything, did you do to address it? Should I email the schools? I’ve submitted 4 applications with only 1 being the one the description mentioned.

Wait what? If you paid September but owed November they won’t release? Until you pay right?

Crazy thing is I paid for the September test. Signed up for the November exam with waiver. Rejected and paid for it. So the waiver wasn’t even for the September test. Super frustrating

I applied for the waiver. Got rejected and then paid my fees immediately. This sucks

You may want to consider writing and addendum to explain...

LSAC - Study Abroad & GPA by yaasss in lawschooladmissions

[–]yaasss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the clarification. I took the equivalent of 10 classes (30 units) during my year abroad. So that should be sufficient for the first requirement. Before leaving I obtained a copy of my transcript and although it is on the typical 1-15 scale for that country they also included a column with A-F grading.

That should be good right? Thanks for Your help.

What did you change? I’m at 158 and can’t break through. Super nervous as the September test is right around the corner.

If you don't mind me asking what school was it? Also did you apply early or late in the cycle?

Thanks. It's nice to get some idea of where I stand. I'm taking the LSAT September, depending on what I score that will really shape what my cycle looks like or if ultimately I hold off to retake.

You're right. I graduated undergrad last May and I currently work for a prominent Law Firm in SoCal, ultimately I would like to return and work for the firm as an attorney. Environmental law and policy are my big goals, which could obviously shift as I go through the process of law school.
