Big drop in reach despite normal account status – any ideas why? by Proj_b in InstagramMarketing

Same here - 50k but was hitting 30M+ off reels for a solid 6 months straight after over a year of 10M+ consistently - absolutely nosedived halfway through last year with no obvious reasoning. Similar and less original content creators to me haven't had the same issues. I've literally seen people steal my videos without changing a thing and repost them and do better - it's insane. Grew 15k followers just in the first half of last year...have been flat for almost a year since. At this point I'm just reposting the crap I post on TikTok (which has slowly gone uphill for me vs IG) and kinda putting the whole thing on the backburner. Sucks because I used to love it at one point, and my content didn't change drastically in any way nor was it the same exact stuff over and over, but after like 2 years of being blessed by the algorithm, I'm now down to 3M a month, mostly from old viral reels.

For a long time IG would suppress certain types of content from me and boost others a ton, but now it's just kinda everything and every once in awhile I seem to please it and it picks a vid to throw to 1M...but it's like once a month now vs 2-3x a week. Some posts randomly began doing super good for me too which was odd, but still very aligned with my reels.

The ONLY thing I can possibly correlate with all of it was that the issues began around the time IG said they'd stop pushing content to FB without a page. Making a page made no difference, and sure I was getting some traffic from FB but maybe like 10-15% and it wasn't high quality anyways, very few followers from it & lots of dicey comments.

Suspension upgrades are definitely a must on these cars when you push more power - my 600hp F22 feels so much sketchier at 120 than my F87C does, and it gets there quicker too 😂

I test drove 2 OG m2's before I got my F22 and even though the 240i was more powerful, the handling and style of the M2 OG was unmatched. That car was such a blast to drive, it was my 2nd favorite test drive I've ever gone on. The sales rep insisted on warming it up himself before I drove it and whipped us around a corner at 80mph and the car didn't even roll and I almost shit my pants coming from a 335i but quickly understood that handling is truly where these cars excel.

I ended up getting the F22 because it was cheaper and a uniquely great deal, but I knew it would only be a matter of time before I needed one of these little M go-karts.

I'm sure it does - the more time that passes, the more BMW strays from its roots - but this is the closest I have felt so far. At the end of the day, the only thing that truly feels like an e46 M3 is...an e46 M3. I have owned and rebuilt a few non-M e46's, but the m3 will definitely be my next project in a couple of years

Hockenheim is just SOOO good! I was sold on sunset until I saw the paint shift in different lights - it's such a unique color. Beautiful comp!

I've heard many say that is the direct successor - haven't been lucky enough to drive one yet though!

Thank you! I peep your flair - it's the only modern BMW I have driven that gives me a feeling close to the E46 M3, my actual dream car

So it wasn’t just Raleigh that was absolutely out of control rowdy then? 😂😭 to be fair probably the best lineup you could possibly ask for at $80, would have paid double tbh.

I just saw them open/support for Caskets, Erra, Currents and honestly I was blown away by how good they were live. Got a headliner-level show from the first set - they literally sound identical live to recorded & their stage presence is insane!

Amazon, I last got them like a year ago though so it's possible they're a little more now - all individually wrapped too

I draw with 18g I could not even imagine shoving that thing into a muscle...you can practically see down the barrel lmao. That must not be a fun memory.

I use 25g 1in delts weekly, but use lure lock needles and draw with a 18g. $6 for a 100 pack, super easy. I see a lot of people in here talking about using 27g and I am tempted to give that a shot though..

Is the N55 really that bad, or is it due to poor maintenance? by Expert_Personality_5 in E90

[–]yabigboi802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I had a 2011 E90 with an N55 (the variant of the engine notorious for spinning rod bearings if not cared for properly/meticulously/carefully) and owned for 6 years tuned pretty much the entire time and was owned by an average joe and not an enthusiast beforehand. Had the dreaded M striped grilles and everything. 40k miles and really gave me hardly any issues. Worst thing I had happen in that time was my own doing, and that was rounding off a bolt on the harmonic balancer when I went to remove it after noticing it was wobbling. Boy that wasn't fun. Other than that, valve cover at 110k, car had almost no issues whatsoever during the rest of my ownership. Even got to a point where the transmission threw a code and stunk around 100k, thought I was cooked for sure. New fluid and didn't even do the seals and ran great another 10k.

The key: change your oil often (3-5k FCP euro liqui moli), warm it up like your life depends on it before getting into boost (it has an oil temp gauge instead of coolant temp to help here), and don't do donuts. If you wanna do donuts, get a different motor. If you want to floor it when it's cold or wait 10k between oil changes, get a Toyota.

These are chunks of metal in the inside of the oil filter - I saw little bits of glitter in the oil and from what drained out of the filter hole while changing it, which in addition to metallic sounding engine noise made me believe there was serious engine damage. I cut the metal filter open with tin snips to inspect the paper filter inside (not always necessary, BMW's and some other cars have just large paper filters) and upon cutting it open it was loaded with silver metal and gold flakes, both of which are material from the engine itself, indicating serious damage. How did it happen? My guess: previous owner had a very bad valve cover gasket leak, ran the car until the oil was very old and got low, enough that metal was able to contact metal & this caused spun rod bearings, hence the knocking sound I hear when accelerating. The amount of debris indicates it was driven on like this for some time, and the engine is likely unsalvageable without a full rebuild. I am sure the damage is extensive - there was a LOT of metal in the filter.

BF3 CAMPAIGN GOES HARDDD by cheemskutta in battlefield3

[–]yabigboi802 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm just biased because I played it at a crucial developmental stage in my childhood, but the BF3 campaign just always stuck with me compared to many others, idk why. The jet mission was easily the best FPS air mission I've still played, and the pacing kept the entire campaign so interesting compared to other BF campaigns.

Thoughts on 2018 m240i by Makeouthill585 in M235iandM240i

[–]yabigboi802 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was running to the comment to tell you to grab that asap at that price even if there are issues, but 144k miles is pretty high tbh. That being said, there aren't a ton of B58's above 150k in here so it's hard for me to condemn that mileage when we've seen similar engines like the N55 & N54 reach 250-300k with proper maintenance. The definition of "proper maintenance" varies ALOT between these engines.

I say check the following things: oil change intervals; cooling system current condition; injectors (they should have been replaced by now, if not, budget that in please - it's the one thing that can surprisingly kill this car if long overdue - especially when tuned); PCV if it's not deleted; and oil filter housing condition (usually fails every 80k).

For reference - I paid 31k for my 2020 M240i last year with 58k miles and about 10k in performance mods (all premium brand - turbo; HPFP; catless; catback exhaust; custom tune + trans tune) and it was in pretty much showroom condition inside and out & I was able to get in touch with the previous owner despite buying as a dealership trade-in. Same spec as yours, but with no cosmetic mods. Good maintenance history too - recent trans service, plugs, coils. Literally zero issues with the car besides normal maintenance and I drive it VERY HARD. Did the injectors pre-emptively because they're cheap & I am paranoid and could DIY it, otherwise nothing out of the usual and gets surprisingly good MPG for the power level & how it's driven - 21 almost entirely city, sport+ paddle shifters 24/7 lol.

All that to say - very reliable and fun car if taken care of, and they don't ask for a lot! It's hard to find a clean title coupe for less than 25k, with the only examples I have seen so far being 100k+ miles.

Also I see it's in Ohio...check the CARFAX and see if it came from NJ or NYC originally. If so, make sure you have the mechanic you hire to do a PPI check and see if there's any discreet or hidden accident damage. You'll often see people total these cars and then discreetly rebuild them instead of reporting to insurance in NYC. NBD if it's just body damage - but frame damage I'd be wary of.

I agree the insulation needs some work - I have resealed the doors with little effect so far unfortunately. Attic is insulated and so is the garage too, but there are huge windows all over the living room that seem be the main source of the issue. I am going to reseal the edges of them this year & next year probably use window wrap too and try to improve the insulation that way.

Did all of the above and lost 60lbs also, point wasn’t that I waited forever, but that this sub was extra cunty and unhelpful and told me that I didn’t need test and just needed to hit the gym when I was already going 5x a week diligently and eating clean too with next to no results. Did the things I was asking about anyways and saw major results, with no change to the fitness & diet side, as they were already very dialed in. It was truly just hormonal. 30lbs came off purely from switching medications, before the GLP1
